Went there today around 1:30 p.m. on a Sunday. Â They were busy, and did not have enough servers. Â The wait staff was having to bus tables., which took them away from waiting on customers and bringing food out, etc. Â Â It took forever to get my food and I had also put in an order for a salad to go. Â Evidently she forgot to put the "to go" order in, so when I was ready to leave, had to wait another 15 minutes for that order.
I ordered a draft Stella off their beer menu, only to find out that they didn't have it any more. Â She said they hadn't updated their beer menu in a long time. Â So I ended up ordering a draft Modelo, and specified "undressed" Â . Â Of course it came 15 minutes later with salt and lime all over the rim. Â I didn't want to send it back because I figured it would be another 15 minutes before I got my beer. Â
The garlic/parmesian wings seemed like regular wings, with some parmesian cheese  sprinkled on top.  Not good at all.
I won't be going back...
Went here to watch the spurs game. Wait staff was excellent, beer cold and food was good. NOW some guy comes up and asks if we are staying for the fight. No we are watching the game. He says that at 9:30 you have to buy a $5.00 wrist band since they paid for the fight to be on. We had spent over $100 to this point and now we are suppose to buy a wrist band for something we did not come to watch ????They gave us the option to give up our seat and go outside (hot) where the game was on but no seats. You lost three starts because of management. Your staff kept you from getting zero.
Review Source:This place is busy every single night of the week! The service is inconsistent, but if you are lucky enough to land in Krystal's section, you'll be waited on hand & foot. I hate sitting in the bar area which is a tight squeeze and everything takes longer. If you aren't into wings, I suggest the Original Gyro, (with extra cucumber sauce) the hummus is wonderful, and you can't go wrong with the spinach dip. Also, the nachos are huge and topped with their signature chili that surpasses the wings in flavor. I don't always love the noisy atmosphere and the all the hustle & bustle, but overall, a pretty great place to visit. It's right next door to where my girlfriend works, so I often stop for a pint before picking her up.
Review Source:We tried this place out for a late lunch on Saturday 9/15/2012. The wings were meh. The rings, while crispy, were very, very- I can't say this enough-- greasy. I think the cooks poured extra oil on top of them after they had been cooked. However, this didn't deter me from eating them, so shame on me for that, I admit it!
Now, if I could give a rating for the service alone I would give 5 stars and two thumbs up for our server Sarah! She was attentive, alert, upbeat, and on the ball. We didn't have to ask for anything because she anticipated our needs before we knew we needed anything, like refills for our drinks. Sarah made our lame lunch into a great dining experience.
My husband and I have been venturing out trying new restaurants so we decided to give this place a try since it had decent ratings. Â Well I have to say the wings at this place are horrible! Â Its death by sauce and the wings are overcooked and dry. Â Another thing about the sauce is there is nothing special they just mix two plain sauces together. Â So overall while this place might have good drink specials the food is HORRIBLE!
Review Source:Went here last Thursday night with some awesome friends.
It was cool to see that there is still one of these franchise stores because I miss the one that is now in the ghost of Southpark Meadow's past.
Wednesday nights are their $1 tenders. That's a GREAT deal!
We ended up ordering the 50 wings (so we could try out a ton of flavors for an indecisive group) and the deal was that those 50 boneless wings cost $30. Â It was a TON of food. Â Well worth the price.
We liked the traditional mild and even the original hot. Â The lemon pepper was a no go because it was all lemon and no pepper, and very strong lemon at that, it was like eating lemons! Â We were able to switch that one out though....I liked the Roasted Garlic over the Garlic Parmesan better. Â There are a lot of good flavors to try though!
I also loved the mild teriyaki the best. Â That is always my fave, though, but if you don't like sweeter sauces, you won't like that as much.
The cheddar wedges were great and the sweet potato fries were fun, too.
They will give you white queso cheese to put with your sweet potato fries if you want to. Â There are many other options, too.
The special  last Thursday was Happy Hour all day long.  That was pretty cool!
We had great service and an even better, rowdy time. Â Loved it!
I will say the parking lot was awful and completely filled, so be careful! Â There are tow zones to be on the lookout for, and don't park near the back fences with the red signs nor at the after hours clinic that may look empty, because your ride will get towed, just wanted to mention that because we did not know.....other than that, enjoy!

Love this place for lunch! They have a huge selection of flavors for their buffalo wings. I think it's something like 86 different flavor combinations. They bone in wings, boneless wings and chicken strips. I have not tried their fries or onion rings but I did have their fried pickles last time I was there and they were delicious. The only complaint I have about this place is it is a bit pricey for lunch so it would be great if they had some lunch specials every now and then.
Review Source:We made the mistake of going here on Thursday night. Thursday is happy hour all day and the place was wheels off loud.  But fun. So I can't fault it for that. I also ordered bad.  I got what I thought was a buffalo chicken sandwich but was a weird ass hamburger with a piece of buffalo chicken on top of  it which was kind of an abomination to my taste buds at least.  Everyone else though, had awesome food. My  Lovely Bride said he buffalo wrap was one of the best wraps she's ever had at any restaurant which is pretty high praise.
Review Source:Monday specials: Bloody Mary for $3 & kids eat free. Sweet. That is until you get the tab and they charge you incorrectly for these things. After pointing out the error- they were corrected quickly- just annoying if I had not caught them.
Food was mediocre but the blue cheese was KILLER. Service was fast and our waitress Blaire was a sweet gal.
For New Braunfels, this was a pretty good find. Â I had the turkey melt which was very tasty and had a couple of wings as well which were good. Â Their homemade chips were way too thick...not crispy like chips should be. Â The outdoor patio is nice though they had the music much too loud for midday Saturday.
Review Source:Any time I walk into a restaurant that looks like it could equally be a Roadhouse worth of protection by Patrick Swayze or a Mom and Pop version of Applebee's, I never know what to expect. Pub food? All fried? Or not, but still bad? Should I order the wings as the safe bet? How about boneless wings, which are essentially chicken nuggets?
Buffalo Wings and Rings is a happening spot in New Braunfels. It was pretty packed on a Thursday night and required us to take the last two seat table in the bar. From that vantage point we were easily able to order two beers and the Black and Blue Burger which, was incredible. But we'll get back to that.
The biggest perk about that table, which is the one you'll see right as you walk in, is how many employees you'll see smashing into each other as they take the blind corner far too confidently. They really could use a mirror anchored on the ceiling, but for now, it's nonstop entertainment to watch two folks emerging from different sides of the wall that are seconds away from collision. Did I smile a one, wave a warning, voice the impending danger? HELL NO. I just watched the collide and giggled about it over and over again over a beer and a good burger.
OK so that burger. Super juicy. Burger, lettuce, tomato and bleu cheese crumbles. Thick crumbles, at that. Everything is bigger in Texas, I suppose. Even the crumbles. More like small rocks of blue cheese.
Word is the place pops off in the summer time and that it's not unlikely to see a bunch of bikini-clad, fresh off the river float folks running around. Can't hate that. No, sir.
This place has it right! Â Their Buffalo Chicken Wings are very good, staff is friendly, Â the service is quick and the atmosphere is sport and family oriented. Â These guys are very flexible in how you want your meal. Â You can get your wings boneless, extra wet, with Ranch or Blue cheese, half one flavor half another flavor....So cool!!! Â The wing sauce does not have an overly vinegar taste and they have many flavors to choose from.
Review Source:I try to go to this place on Wednesdays, they always have a great deal on Boneless Wings. They have expanded their outside patio and parking, which is great considering the place is packed for summer. The waitstaff has always been friendly. You can customize the flavor of your wings, and increase spiciness;) If you want to try something different try the Gyro Quesadilla! Very delish
Review Source:I wrote this review not realizing I wrote it for the wrong location (<a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz/buffalo-wings-and-rings-austin#hrid:2t-4pNM0XKtBJnVmm2XDQg/src:self">http://www.yelp.com/biz/…</a>) . I need to give credit where it's properly due. I'm sure the one in Austin Rocks but the New Braunfels location did me right.
This was the first place I ate at when I came to Texas. Why didn't we eat somewhere in San Antonio? Because we were staying in New Braunfels and the name caught my eye. In San Diego we have the famous Wings N Things and that's what I thought my mom said as we passed by. After a double take, we realized it said "Rings" and the correct name was "Buffalo Wings & Rings"
We drove up and down the street trying to find somewhere to eat but everything looked a little scary and dead. It was only 8 o'clock and the streets were empty which is a sight we're not used to. We settled on this place because it was the brightest and there were a bunch of cars outside. Mind you, I was a bit skeptical eating here because... well... It's Texas =]. We weren't in the modern side of town, more like the crazy country folk where everyone knows everyone side of town. It's comparable to a very small and ugly Santee.
Anyways we decided to eat here because it seemed more appealing than Rudy's across the street. Somehow a gas station and food doesn't sound tasty. It was Tuesday night and it wasn't crowded which was fine considering I was cranky from the flight and starving.
I think the name of our server was Elizabeth? I'm not too sure but she was really nice and helpful. She informed us about the specials and some fun local things to do around town. She also suggested that our chicken tenders be drenched with garlic Parmesan, I should have given her a high five for the recommendation. The chicken tenders were sooooo yummy and tasted exactly like the tenders from Hooters... only better!
My mom had a craving for soup and the choices were chili or chicken noodle soup. Since I'd mostly likely be eating the soup I suggested we get the chili for two reasons; #1 I hate chicken noodle soup and #2 I thought Texas was known for chili. The server then raved about the chicken noodle soup and told the story about how her boyfriend loves it and it was enough to convince my mom to get it. The server was 100% sure I'd like it and I must admit... I really did.
Coming here was a good way to start off my Texas trip. The food was good and our server made it even better. The only downer was the lemon pepper buffalo wings we had, it was a little to strong for me. It tasted like lemon zest rather than the juice. Other than that everything was great! Â I really hope Elizabeth was her name because she deserves all the recognition and gratitude from this happy California girl.
