Let me start out by saying there Biscuits are Amazing!, I would sale a Kidney for the Recipe for them. We drove up from Columbus, as we were walking to the door almost got ran over by about 40 bikers, We were seated on the porch, a little to cramped for my opinion but a beautiful view. Went to the Buffet line to Fill my plate, Nothing had a tag on it to tell you what it was, I got what I thought were Gizzards and boy was I wrong. I could not even get my 16 month old to eat them. The green beans came st right out of a can, so seasoning, no ham, nothing. Felt like Hospital food. The Fried chicken was done in small bathes so it stayed fresh! It was pretty good, as well as the BBQ ribs. Went to pay for our meal and Asked if they offer military discount, and she said only in uniform, I nicely told the woman, not everyone parades around in there uniform, especially when its a family outing. I asked for a Piece of Pecan pie and banana pudding to go. We just had them this evening and that's one thing I can say they do well is desert.
Review Source:Do not care too much for buffets but this place is true southern cooking with home made deserts a la carte. Not the greatest variety but that's why everything remains so fresh. Been there twice...great professional "true southerner" waitress  keeping my sweet tea glass full.  Had yeast rolls, corn bread, black eye peas, butter beans, fried chicken, country fried steak, fried okree,  fried green 'maters"...and more....loved it all.  Mostly locals eat here....was last here on a Monday for lunch and it was pretty full. A block off the main drag in historic Warm Springs, Ga. About 12 bucks a person for  lunch  plus drink plus desert if you can spare room.
Review Source:We've always enjoyed eating here and the food is usually good. But it is not worth the wait. Two hours of waiting for a table is ridiculous (but after making the 30+ minute drive, you're in it for the long haul). And the management is rude.
The quality of the food has decreased in recent years. Â The "famous" fried green tomatoes are relatively tasteless, even with the "spicy" sauce. Â The fried chicken is crispy but not overly flavorful. And everything else has a general cafeteria-style taste. Â
I don't think we'll be back anytime soon.
