Buoni Amici Pizza & Pasta

Walked in once and got a slice. Nice. Had one delivery order, the OWNER HIMSELF, Billy, drove it out to my place 7 miles away; excellent pep/mr pizza plus zeppoles and mozz stix, all above the usual local fare, ie, Billy's was spiced correctly and nicely flavored. PLUS he used fresh mushrooms, not the canned ones most of the local shops use.

They season the sauce just right and don't over-or under-apply the pizza sauce. The crust is really tasty, not just a bland base for the toppings. It's like really nice Italian bread in terms of taste. Thin and crispy but not cracker-thin; there's enough heft to the crust to support the toppings.

Last night we ordered a margarita pie and another one, I forget the name, which had chicken, bacon and ranch dressing. Billy threw in 2 slices of fabulous chocolate cheesecake. WOW best margarita pie I have EVER had. The girls loved the other pie,and I did take a taste; the chicken was perfect, not dry, just enough ranch dressing and bacon to.

They don't skimp on the toppings, the crust is light and flavorful, the sauce is spiced just right and the prices are right in line with everybody else. So, they're our new pizza place. Sorry Benvenuto...
