I'm a reg. several days a week. Â Can"t eat cheaper at home. Â Love the Garlic Pizza, Cowboy & Ridley sandwiches. Â My wife & I split, it's more than enough. Â The drinks are great, the beer is cold & the crowd is so friendly, it' hard to leave. Â The owners, Cary & Jason do a great job & so friendly, talking with everyone. Â The barmaids are even better, hey Michelle.
Review Source:I'd heard from someone on the train how great the food is here, and when I read the rest of the Yelp reviews I decided to check it out. My mistake was letting my expectations get too high. After hearing and reading about the place I was expecting a really really good meal, but it was...weird?? The place reminded me of a small outdated Knights of Columbus hall. It was light where most bars are darker.
The clientele was a strange mix that was not that friendly and seemed clique-y. Only one person working- she seemed to be the cook, bartender and waitress. The food was just ok, a basic bar menu. I had a burger and fries. It was good, but nothing special about it that would make me revisit.
My verdict: I wouldn't say don't go, but I wouldn't say the opposite either.
The food was very tasty. The prices were good, the staff was friendly. The food's presentation was lacking, but I can overlook that for good taste at reasonable prices. The place has little ambiance beyond being a neighborhood bar that one night two years ago decided to start serving food. Again, their food was good, and they guy who helped us was friendly and accomodating. During the summer this place will be a better choice account their outdoor areas. The kitchen, which is visible clearly from a large window out front, is very clean, which is good. I'm going back to try it again and make sure before posting a longer review...
