I'm a reg. several days a week. Â Can"t eat cheaper at home. Â Love the Garlic Pizza, Cowboy & Ridley sandwiches. Â My wife & I split, it's more than enough. Â The drinks are great, the beer is cold & the crowd is so friendly, it' hard to leave. Â The owners, Cary & Jason do a great job & so friendly, talking with everyone. Â The barmaids are even better, hey Michelle.
Review Source:I'd heard from someone on the train how great the food is here, and when I read the rest of the Yelp reviews I decided to check it out. My mistake was letting my expectations get too high. After hearing and reading about the place I was expecting a really really good meal, but it was...weird?? The place reminded me of a small outdated Knights of Columbus hall. It was light where most bars are darker.
The clientele was a strange mix that was not that friendly and seemed clique-y. Only one person working- she seemed to be the cook, bartender and waitress. The food was just ok, a basic bar menu. I had a burger and fries. It was good, but nothing special about it that would make me revisit.
My verdict: I wouldn't say don't go, but I wouldn't say the opposite either.
The food was very tasty. The prices were good, the staff was friendly. The food's presentation was lacking, but I can overlook that for good taste at reasonable prices. The place has little ambiance beyond being a neighborhood bar that one night two years ago decided to start serving food. Again, their food was good, and they guy who helped us was friendly and accomodating. During the summer this place will be a better choice account their outdoor areas. The kitchen, which is visible clearly from a large window out front, is very clean, which is good. I'm going back to try it again and make sure before posting a longer review...
Review Source:We are familiar with Redline..stop for a few drinks and an occasional lunch. At the request if our daughter we used the Redline to cater her graduation party on June 30th 2012. People are still talking about the excellence of the food, the variety and the presentation. Â I am still impressed with the catering that was done. Not only was the food excellent but there was enough to feed approximately 75 people, Â many making several trips! Â I'm a Cortlandt Manor resident for about 25 years yet I always traveled to White Plains for any catering needs but that has changed! I'm happy there is a local business that I can support and refer friends to without worrying that its a hit or miss. Everything was beyond excellent.... unfortunately I had no leftovers!!! Â I was completely impressed!!!
Review Source:I stopped into this place more as a joke and to keep drinking with friends...but was pleasantly suprised with this off-the-track joint.
I usually pass by this bar/restaurant on my way into Continental Village and see bikers outside smoking and drinking. Â Never thought to step foot inside but alas one day with friends as backup, we went in.
Small bar and few tables inside, I reluctantly ordered a personal mushroom pizza while my friends ordered mussels, a burger and fries.
Drinks were kick a$$, and my favorite was the Sunny D. Don't remember what was in it besides a concotion of liquor and orange juices but I totes recommend trying it if you enjoy fruity drinks that get you tips fast!
Went outside to enjoy the last bits of sun and promply got our food within 15 minutes or so...Just enough time to chat and dive into our second libation.
Food was pretty awesome for a small biker dive bar and I would definitely come back with friends to chill and people watch. Â Friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices for great food.
Give it a try before you kick it
New place....
Pub style eatery---with some outdoor seating. I do not find the outdoor seating too stylish---confined within a parking lot with vinyl strap fencing...but they did make good use of the real estate available.
Now onto the food.
Pretty diverse menu for a pub....salads were all excellent!!! Large, fresh and not pricey (love, love, love) Had some nice fish n chips...side of vinegar....while not a big fan of fried foods...the fish was lightly fried, not greasy and still crisp.
Sadly I think location is the biggest issue----
They do have take-out---and thats a plus.
Lets give this new local eatery a chance---stop by and YELP!!!
