If you are fortunate enough to be able to get on post at West Point a trip to the "Firstie" is a must. This little bar is a great spot to slam an ice cold Yuengleng, watch some sports on the big screen and hang-out with the cadets. There is also food served at the First Class Club with a fairly extensive menu of bar fare. Multiple pool tables, shuffle board, darts and foosball are all free for patrons of the club.
The building was originally an armory built in the mid 1800's when West Point was a fort. There is a ton of history surrounding the building (and obviously the whole campus) so take the time to walk around and read the plaques that adorn the club. There are a number of military artifacts surrounding the club that were used in battle like old iron cannons from the revolutionary era. You will definitely get a sense of the historic significance of the area be strolling around the grounds.
