Okay okay I'm a little bias because 2 of my family members work here but this is my favorite restaurant. Their food is never a disappointment. I love their regularly changing specials and beer selection. THE BARTENDERS ARE AMAZING ;) They're Sunday champagne brunch is absolutely delicious and they include a free mimosa or champagne. They regularly change their stuffed French toast with fresh fruits and that's always a winner for me. Their breakfast potatoes dish is also delicious. My favorite regular menu item meals include the painters chicken parm, the dragon bowl, buttermilk fried chicken, any of their focaccia, and their spinach artichoke dip (although every appetizer they have is to die for).
Service isn't always the best. If you're in a rush maybe you should skip coming here. Although it is a nice restaurant and can be pricey, the waitstaff is very casual. There are good waitstaff and not so good, like everywhere. But keep in mind things tend to move slowly in here when you're dining in outside of the bar.
This place is a local favorite of mine; I stop by whenever work brings me into the neighborhood. It's a somewhat boisterous tavern/inn, the menu is eclectic, and there are always some good options. In addition to the food and drink, I like the gallery, the beautiful location, and the overall one-off feel of the place. It's worth checking out.
