You might think that all Chinese take-out places are created equal; starchy thick, greasy, and overly salty. This was one of the first Chinese take-out joints that changed my take on what sweet & sour chicken and egg drop soup should taste like. Chinese food, as we know it in America is the Western bastard of an ancient culinary master. But at least, and thankfully, Newburgh's Green Garden does so with respect and good taste.
Affordable, fast, friendly and satisfyingly good Chinese food without the unnecessary additives and disregard that mar many of its kind.
