My husband and I were  given a menu, we placed an order. When we got the check the entree that we both ordered was billed higher than listed on the menu. We spoke to the manager who explained the menus had been updated??  In the last half hour we asked??
Talk about a bait and switch! Â My husband didn't want me to get nervous so we paid and left. The manager did nothing to make it right. I ended up really upset, it's just the principle of the thing. It wasn't right. We will NEVER go back there again, and we will be sure to spread the word. The manager was awful.
We decided to go and give this a try once the crazy weather cleared up! Â Located in the Newburgh Mall, in the former Ground Round spot, this place has a nice updated look. Â The restaurant set up itself is the same. Â The look of the whole place is a modernized and warm atmosphere. Â Background music was playing count downs of songs from various early 2000 Â years, which was fun. Â Now onto the main point of going to the place. Â
The menu has a wide range of appetizers, sandwiches, entrees, etc.  Bread was served while we decided, it  was quite good.  We had the boneless buffalo wings flavored hot as an appetizer.  They were nice and tender.  The sauce had an odd zing to it, but shortly that noticeable taste passed.  For meals, I had the fried chicken, requested to replace the mashed potatoes with french fries with cheese/bacon.  One downside to this was that I wasn't informed of the extra charge for this, but I'll live.  My husband got the chicken burrito, it was served unbeknownst to him with a huge bowl of black beans.  The fried chicken was quite delicious with a good portion to eat, and take home.  The fries were pretty good, interesting texture to the "breading" .  Husband liked his chicken burrito. Â
We were too full for dessert, but I plan to return for a taste of the chocolate peanut butter cake. Â
Overall: Â Service was very good. Â Food was good. Â Portions are large. Â Prices are reasonable and comparable to other area restaurants. Â The place wasn't too crowded, hopefully it will last. Â Give it a whirl!
