All I can say about this place is cheap, Cheap, CHEAP!!!
But in a good way!!
Friends and I made our way up here after overpriced drinks at Cold Spring Depot and were quite happy with this joint. Â It's rather small which is one drawback but its totally local and chill. Â Our beers were anywhere from 2-5$ which is stellar yo! Yeah I said Stellar!
There's a pool table in back which we had some awkward convos with other ppl playing; i thought they wanted to fight over the table but it was all good. Â The chick they were with kept complimenting me and such so I think thats why it remained chill. She wanted me, I know it. Â I was the trophy for the evening.
Pretty rad old-school faux-bowling machine in the bar as well which kept us entertained for a while. iTunes machine was rockin with a Recd Hot Chili Peppers/Tool type sound. Â I would def come back if I was in the area, and it's a spot to spend little money but still get a good nights drinking in. Â "A" game in my book
Third time writing a review about this place. Let's see if this one gets taken down!
The service my gf and I received was less than desirable and that's putting it mildly. The bartender was rude, and at one point said something about my gf within ear shot of course...I won't repeat what he said because it probably won't fall under yelps guidelines. We went to watch the Giants game and asked if he could put the sound up so we could hear the game. Not to mention one of the other three bar patrons asked to hear the game as well. He told us he wasn't going to compete with the jukebox...there were three people in the freaking bar for crying out loud! It was the bartender that was playing the music, WTF?! The 6 flat screen HD tv's is a flat out lie! Just look at the photos posted on here and the website and you'll see what I'm talking about. Another reviewer mentioned giving the place a negative 3 stars...I wouldn't stop there. I'd go a negative 5 and more if it was possible. This place flat out sucks! I'd steer clear of this place folks.
