World's End Bar

The World's End Bar offers great views and has outdoor seating but sadly it was raining this evening.  My wife and I seated ourselves at the bar waiting to be served.  After about five or more minutes a local business man walked in and seated himself next to us and the bartender promptly tended to him and his order.  After having put in the business mans order the bartender then took our simple order for two glasses of wine.  The pour was generous but that must go with their pricing which is higher than what you might find in other comparable environments in the area.  I did enjoy the company and the environment at the bar which was very relaxing.

I need to have a "neighborhood" watering hole, so to speak, and this elegant, approachable bar at The Garrison Golf Course, offers a dynamic selection of "potent potables" as well as unique fare, most of which is local though not quite vegetarian friendly, yet!, and offers a view of the majestic Hudson River that cannot be beat regardless of the weather or season. Nice wines by the glass. My fave? The Shiraz.  :))))
