  In 3 years here, I have only been to Burger King once, and it wasn't even inside the restaurant.  We went through the drive-in because we were in a hurry and I knew what I wanted.  Since I was the only one ordering, we figured we'd be out of there and home again in 5 minutes.  I was curious to try the new 1/2 lb. Angus burger.  Each car took no less than 10 minutes to get through the drive-in.  When we finally got up to the intercom, I sort of understood why.  It's so garbled that you can't understand them, and I doubt they can hear or understand you.  When we finally pulled into the window, it took the cashier 2 minutes to make change from a $10 bill, and our order wasn't even ready when we pulled up to the pick-up window.  If we could have backed-up and out during this wait, we would have but there was a long line and we were boxed in.  When I finally got home to eat my burger, I was starved and it tasted fine.  Personally, it was too much and too greasy for my taste.  Well, an hour later, I had a terrible stomach ache.  I've been too wary and scared to go back ever since.  It's just this Burger King because I've never had such a bad experience at any others I go to.

  There aren't a lot of choices in Monticello and I obviously picked the wrong one. (I tried going to the Hut but they didn't have a buffet, so what's the point?) The lady behind the counter was more concerned in talking about the up coming holiday than actually helping the customers. The menu is truly uninspiring, to match the decor. I got the number 9, which is the original chicken sandwich. Now I thought everything was made fresh? Or is that Wendy's? I got this flattened piece of greasy paper and fries. First off, everything was cold. The sandwich tasted like cardboard with fish sauce on it. If this was the original it would have been three times the size and an actual chicken would have been needed to make it. The fries were all dark brown and again, cold. And to wash it all down they had Coke products for which the Sprite tasted stale! But then again the only people in the place was the geriatric crowd and their coupons. It's been 10 years since I've been to a Burger Hole and I am sure I will remember this experience to keep me away for another 10.
