  Stopped here on our adventure home from the beach, and we were delightfully surprised!  The fried chicken was HOT and fresh, and the Mac n cheese and green beans were as good as moms!  My kids ordered breakfast, and ate every bit of their pancakes, bacon & home fries.  Good sized portions.  I can't remember the last time the four of us ate a great meal out at a restaurant for under $40!

  This place has excellent country cooking and diner fare.
  
  I've had the privelage of eating the reuben, chicken & dumplings, and a cheese steak here. All three were hot, delicious, and comfort food at it's best.
  
  Good fries with the sandwiches and the cornbread is wonderful.
  
  The menu isn't very extensive, but they have great specials. The prices aren't bad, but if I remember correctly the pizza is a little pricey. They also serve breakfast which I want to try.
  
  You just need to watch where you sit, because a few of the booths are near huge vents, and you could potentially freeze or burn to death.
  
  If you're in New Kent and need some comfort food or something to stick to your ribs, stop here!
