OK, maybe they wouldn't get 5 stars in Dallas, but this is Muleshoe for Pete's sake.

We were there on Wednesday which is 'barbecue' day. The barbecue topped baked potato was especially good. Excellent fries, and the salad was real salad with house made dressing, not iceberg lettuce covered with something out of a #10 can.

Good prices, excellent service.

We drove away feeling much superior to the folks parked in front of the fast food restaurants that dot the rest of this town.

Stumbled upon this place while driving cross country.  Almost passed it up because it looked abandoned.  The food was outstanding.  Fresh croutons on the salad.  Best barbecue pulled pork I've ever had.  Don't pass this place by.
