I was looking for a sandwich place to take on our drive to Keomoku village and Shipwreck beach. Â I looked up reviews and deiced to try here. Â I ordered the Jimmy's Italian toasted. Â The combination of meats, provolone, and bread made the sandwich top notch. Â
I wanted to come here again to try the korean chicken katsu and the reese's peanut butter calzone for my girlfriend but it was closed the 2 times I went.
This is a very functional convenience within the remote location of Lanai City. My wife enjoyed the soup that was on display both days and took her order to go. I can't say about the rest of the menu since I didn't eat in there. Also, kitchen is unable to be seen due to the layout, so sanitation is always a concern. Considering my wife is gluten free and she had no issues with what she ate, overall satisfied.
The lady serving is very hard working. She put a lot of interest into what she was serving and the overall enjoyment of the people she was serving. She even gave us some extra salad dressing even though we didn't order a salad. Very thoughtful.
