Nice place to stumble upon I think.
I liked it, real friendly manager/bartender (double duty) I'm really not sure what the 'Rude Staff' or 'Lazy' comments were about in the other reviews... I was treated just fine, got my food and drinks fast, got checked up on a few times and got my bill fast with out having to wait long at all.
I had the spaghetti which has a little bit of a spicy kick to it - and there's A LOT of it too, I told the guy 'I'm not too hungry so maybe just a soup or something' he said they had a lighter lunch menu that I could order off of... I took a peek, saw spaghetti... was less than $10 including the soup I was gonna get anyway. GAME ON, got about a quarter of it down before I had to stop. Took the rest home :)
I loved the garlic bread it was crispy and just a bit charred on the edges but soft what light beyond thy window breaks... wait what? no really though nice and soft on the inside :)
Clean open atmosphere and service was good, they were slow though, so I can't really judge it that well. Nice place though, lotta wood features and decor. I'd go back again.
Not super super, but definitely not a onsey or twosy...
Smokers - if it's raining there's no awning FYI
If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. Where do I begin? Actually, this was my second time coming to the restaurant and It will be my last.
The waitress/hostess was very rude. She actually went on to say you can just sit anywhere then she walked away. Yes, walked away, no menu or anything. The bartender came over and gave us menus and asked if we wanted a drink and appetizer. After the bartender took our orders, here SHE come with menus, I said we already ordered. All she said was humpff and walked away again.
Now after we finished our meals and drinks, mind the so-called waitress didn't come over to ask if we needed anything or if the food was cooked correctly nothing, she was on the other side of the restaurant texting. So now we are finished, the BARTENDER came and gave us our check, so since I was treating, I paid my bill and gave the BARTENDER a nice tip for servicing us. The waitress came after she seen us put out coats on and asked how we were going to pay the bill, I said if you were doing your job as a waitress you would have known that we already paid our bill. She had the nerve to say well were is the tip, I said your tip of the day is change employment because a waitress you are not.
I will NEVER step foot in this place again and if you had any sense you would not either. Owners need to know that service is key.
This place has changed so much since my original review. Â The management needs a reality check. Â One manager is younger and a relative of the owner. Â He is rude, brash, and needs a lesson in customer service. Â My order was not what I expected so I alerted the waitress, she reviewed the menu to see if my request was valid. Â I thought buffalo chicken sandwich came with breaded fried chicken not baked chicken, WEIRD. Â She alerted the manager and he CONFRONTED ME. "Well what do you wanna do?" Â Um excuse me how dare you approach me like that. Â His tone and proximity to me was very uncomfortable. Â "Well we will make you another one" NO "We can make you something else, what do you wanna do" Â UMM nothing I don't trust you guys making my food now. Â I just wanna leave. Â "Well you need to pay for that Coke you drank" Â WOW really dude...here take your $2 for this coke. Â I left the restaurant in tears, another waitress followed me out to the parking lot to console me and apologize for the management's behavior. Â
I use to like this place, and according to YELP I'm the "duchess" at this restaurant, well YELP you can take back the title because I don't want it.
