Uncle Joe's Jerk

Omg why are you sooooo far away!!  Normally, I wouldn't mind driving a ways to have some amazing Jamaican jerk chicken, the best I've had in Chicago (though I can't say I'm the expert in that department).  BUT and this is one major BUT, the fact that there is nothing else for me in that neighborhood means I must be dying for some before I drag my butt alllll the way to 103rd.  My suggestion to the owner is pleeease open a location closer to downtown Chicago so we can all appreciate yummy Jamaican jerk chicken without driving to bufu!

Uncle Joe's has the best Jerk Chicken in Chicago. The plantains are amazing also. Extra soft and plenty sweet. The food is very generous and flavorful. The rice and peas had a very good smokey flavor to them. I usually go to the uncle Joe's on 86th and Stony Island but since it's closed I decided to venture to this one. They did not disappoint me in the least. I recommend Uncle Joe's to anyone looking for good Jamaican food. I traveled all the way from Rogers Park to get my fix!
