Delicious! Â
For a family owned business this rocks! Â They are usually pretty busy because they have the prime spot in Townsend. And for those who aren't familiar with Townsend... it's on the corner with the only light in town.
The traffic that flows through the area is either on their way or coming from the mountains or Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Campfire grill connects with a busy gas station.
The last time we were there, we ate outside and people were stopping continually asking directions.
The food is definitely home made. They have a variety of burgers, Mexican food, and other miscellaneous. Their burgers are made to order and deliciously juicy, not greasy.
Their fries are home fries, thick and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.
The prices are very reasonable and for the two of us, we get out for around $15.
The owners are very friendly and love to hear where everyone is from. Â They should put a book out for people to sign. Â
There are two down items. One is the parking.... plenty of area to park, just people tend to park wherever they want and often block people trying to get out  / in. The other down thing is the seating. When it's busy, there are only 3 tables inside to sit and during summer, it is a bit warm to sit outside.
We definitely enjoy going there when we go through Townsend near a meal.
