  I had high hopes for the Canyon Club based on both the Yelp reviews and the proximity to our hotel (the Grand Canyon Hotel).  Unfortunately, I was put-off the moment my boyfriend and I stepped inside because the coked-out karaoke host got in our faces and tried to become our friend...
  
  "Where you guys from???"
  "LA."
  "Oh my god, no way?! Me too! What part of town?"
  "Silver Lake."
  "Oh my god! Me too! I'm a musician."
  "Cool."
  "Oh my god, we should meet up when I'm back in LA. I'll get your information in a minute."
  
  ...and then he runs back to his mic to introduce the next singer.  His breath was really bad.
  
  The bartender was really trashy and gave me a lot of shit for not ordering my Screwdriver with Grey Goose.  I didn't realize this was such a fancy establishment, what with the Kirkland Signature concentrated orange juice and all.
  
  We sat in the back of the bar and observed the rough-looking patrons while we finished our drinks, then headed back to the Sultana.

  In my top 5 bars ever. And not in an ironic hipster way. I love the hell out of this place and everyone in it. One time I was in Williams with about 50 people from not the USA and we descended on The CC at about midnight...they didn't know what hit them. All of those people loved it. LOVED IT! Still talk about it a year later. I know it looks a little sketch from the outside, but don't be turned off...go in and become a believer! How are there not more reviews??!!  Oh, and have Jackie make you a Bloody Mary. I don't care that that's a brunch drink and it's 12:26am, DO IT!

  Cute little dive that has seemingly been here forever. Had a blast here both nights I was in town. Thanks Canyon Club! There are really only two late night bars in town - here and The Sultana. (both great)
