Not what I expected. Â So much more. Â We enjoyed it all. Â We spent the weekend in Williams and spent the night here. We will be back with our friends
The western themed hotel rooms are as comfortable as they are clever, the service is fast and friendly, the atmosphere is old west with the modern comforts, the food is wonderful with large portions, the hospitality would make the south blush, the food is worthy of a double reminder - excellent... Â
The owner is usually there and welcoming. If he is there, just look for the tall cowboy who is talking to everyone and clearing the tables or working in the rooms. Â Not afraid to get his hands dirty. Â He will also stop and talk with you.. Â He is also the mayor of the town.
The one true sign of a great little place is when the locals even like to come in and hangout for a drink or a meal and will "chat a spell" with you ! Â
The rooms are small, yet comfortable. Â We had the China Valley room. Â The only thing that got us out of the big comfy bed was the thought of the breakfast. Â If it was half as delicious as the dinner was the night before, we would be happy. Â It was worth the effort of getting out of bed!
Everyone you met there was happy and helpful. Â Its also affordable. Â Better priced then the chain hotels down the road.
This little place appeared closed in the morning, went there for breakfast with a couple of friends, we started to leave and the waitress ran down the street to ask if we wanted to eat, we said yes but you appeared to be closed, she informed us that they were going to open in 20 minutes 7 am just like the sign said, she said they would take our order and get the food right out to us. They were on top of it, the food came right out, it used fresh ingredients, I was very happy with the food, the service and the friendliness. The mayor of Williams apparently is the owner, he came over and chatted with us for 10 or 15 minutes or so.... Nice guy too.
Review Source:been here a few times since my last review, and the quality of this place has gotten better and better. Â After a few months, the wild west junction has finalized their menu to a nice sized menu, and made the place more welcoming and accessible. Â The breakfast menu is great and has some very good, western cowboy options. Â The price is in line with everything else around here, but the quality is better that other places. Â It seems like they aren't as reliable on canned goods as other places, which is nice.
if you want a nice breakfast, at a decent price and a fun atmosphere check out WWJ. Â Even cooler than the decor is the gruff group of cowboys sitting in the dining room each morning, including the town Mayor and restaurant owner, John Moore.
