Not what I expected. Â So much more. Â We enjoyed it all. Â We spent the weekend in Williams and spent the night here. We will be back with our friends
The western themed hotel rooms are as comfortable as they are clever, the service is fast and friendly, the atmosphere is old west with the modern comforts, the food is wonderful with large portions, the hospitality would make the south blush, the food is worthy of a double reminder - excellent... Â
The owner is usually there and welcoming. If he is there, just look for the tall cowboy who is talking to everyone and clearing the tables or working in the rooms. Â Not afraid to get his hands dirty. Â He will also stop and talk with you.. Â He is also the mayor of the town.
The one true sign of a great little place is when the locals even like to come in and hangout for a drink or a meal and will "chat a spell" with you ! Â
The rooms are small, yet comfortable. Â We had the China Valley room. Â The only thing that got us out of the big comfy bed was the thought of the breakfast. Â If it was half as delicious as the dinner was the night before, we would be happy. Â It was worth the effort of getting out of bed!
Everyone you met there was happy and helpful. Â Its also affordable. Â Better priced then the chain hotels down the road.
This little place appeared closed in the morning, went there for breakfast with a couple of friends, we started to leave and the waitress ran down the street to ask if we wanted to eat, we said yes but you appeared to be closed, she informed us that they were going to open in 20 minutes 7 am just like the sign said, she said they would take our order and get the food right out to us. They were on top of it, the food came right out, it used fresh ingredients, I was very happy with the food, the service and the friendliness. The mayor of Williams apparently is the owner, he came over and chatted with us for 10 or 15 minutes or so.... Nice guy too.
Review Source:been here a few times since my last review, and the quality of this place has gotten better and better. Â After a few months, the wild west junction has finalized their menu to a nice sized menu, and made the place more welcoming and accessible. Â The breakfast menu is great and has some very good, western cowboy options. Â The price is in line with everything else around here, but the quality is better that other places. Â It seems like they aren't as reliable on canned goods as other places, which is nice.
if you want a nice breakfast, at a decent price and a fun atmosphere check out WWJ. Â Even cooler than the decor is the gruff group of cowboys sitting in the dining room each morning, including the town Mayor and restaurant owner, John Moore.
The Wild West Junction is a fun place to stop for a drink and maybe some food. Â Other restaurants in town have better food so if you are only going to eat at one place this probably shouldn't be it. Â If you are in town for a few days however, you should check them out. Â They have a bunch of fun little cowboys and props in a little square of buildings. Â They have a hotel with western themed rooms, a couple different restaurants and a bar. Â The bar did have some local beer on tap and the burgers were fine. Â Kids would probably get a kick out of this.
Review Source:Most unique hotel ever. The room are named for the theme, and very wild west. It is like being in a time machine, visiting an old western town. You may see a real coeboy walking arround.
The rooma are clean and very well decorated for theit theme. The staff are fantasticly friendly and incredibly helpful. Camille the manager, bartender, head chef, even called friends for answers to our questions.
The breakfast is in the restaurant and you order off the full menu then just say I am staying at the Drovers Inn (just a few feet away) and your breakfast is free. And it is great food.
They only have 5 rooms so within a few minutes you are a member of the family headed up by John who will introduce you to the rest of his WWJ family.

Staying here is a unique adventure that is an experience not to be missed.
Our group of 11 rented out all five rooms of the Wild West Junction during Thanksgiving and had an amazing time! The rooms each had their own theme, ranging from "The Bordello" room to "The Trapper" room, with the decor matching the theme. It felt like you stepped into the wild west, but with clean, comfortable beds and hot running water. Our stay included breakfast each morning and we were all surprised that instead of the usual muffin and doughnut continental breakfast, we were able to sit down and be served on by very friendly and attentive waitresses.
The best part about our stay here, hands down, was how warm and welcoming the staff was. Jon, the owner as well as the mayor of the town, made us feel right at home. If we had a question he couldn't answer, he was on the phone with someone who could. He was always there if we needed something, even clearing our plates! Camille, the bartender/chef/room keeper, was the most accommodating and friendliest lady I have met in some time. We had told her in advance that we were looking for a place to have Thanksgiving dinner in Williams and she offered to cook us, remind you a group of 11, a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We were treated to a humongous, juicy turkey with stuffing along with homemade mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, yams, cranberry sauce, and fresh rolls from the oven. To top the amazing meal off, individual champagne bottles with pumpkin and pecan pie.
We were all sad to leave Williams and the Wild West Junction, we even tried convincing ourselves to extend the vacation! Not only does this place offer the charm of the wild west with themed rooms and their own little "town" complete with a saloon, it's the people and staff with their friendly smiles and bend-over-backward accommodating attitudes that will definitely have us coming back. Thank you Jon and Camille!!
Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and thought we were in for some western treats! Â We were terribly wrong, Â I believe the place we ate was the wishing well... 6 things on the menu. Burger, Chicken Fingers and a few other appetizers! Â If you are hungry look elsewhere but if looking for a snack this is your place. Â The burger was fresh and tasty but not what we were expecting. Â Another williams tourist trap
Review Source:I can only comment on the Iron Horse Saloon. The Fish and Chips are the best ever. I have been tacross the country eating in five star restauratns and dive bars. The Mahi Mahi was awesome, not greasy and a very light batter! The side of Caleslaw was topped with a ginger dressing that was to die for. Fresh, everything was made fresh. We will be back, if only for the food:)
Review Source:This place is just cool, I don't blame my waitress for bad service. I just think the place is so big it's confusing & it took us 5 minutes to figure out it's seat yourself.... I think. We got there when it was slow & it picked up while there. You could see confusion on everyone's face too. Anyway the cool part if this place is the atmosphere, very casual & it's like like a little western looking town where you can sit in or outside (reminds me of Rawhide). There is little shops that are just props but look way cool. Now the food, my wife had a burger and that was just awesome. You could tell they made the patty by hand & it tasted delicious. I had ribs which were just OK, the meat didn't seem top quality but BBQ was good. Kids had chicken nuggets & they were good. Prices were fair & I'd definitely go back.
Review Source:While passing through Williams, my wife and I happened upon this quirky little western motif town at the end of the main street. Â We were laughing at all the neat little buildings, when out pops Carol, the housekeeper, who offered us a tour of the "themed rooms". Â These rooms are the best themed rooms I have seen, with meticulous details. Â Cleanliness was a given.
Afterward we stepped into the Bar and met Candy (sp. Kendee) and Bob, who apparently run the place. Â Needless to say we were so blown away by their charm and hospitality we booked the 'Bordello Room' for the night. Â
After roaming the streets of Williams, my wife and I ended up back at the fire pit which was lit and warm. Â Before we knew it 12 other people just strolled from parts unknown to come together for a magical night of good cheer around an open fire. Â
If you are planning a stay anywhere within a 100 miles of  the Grand Canyon cancel those plans and book here.  Better hurry though,  I think the secret is out and they may end up being booked months in advance,  but call nonetheless.
