Possibly the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. The restaurant was out of two menu items we wanted. After we ordered around 2 pm, we waited between 50-60 minutes for our food to come out. I suspect the server forgot to put our order in until I asked her about it. The server offered us chips and salsa on the house for our wait. The chips were stale and the salsa was not good. When the food finally came out, my order was wrong. When the server brought out my new burger, there was still some mayo and mustard on it, which I requested there not be, and it wasn't hot. There was no manager interaction despite our awful experience. Also, the free wifi sign outside is apparently only for the owner and his "financials". What a disappointing experience.

Three words for this Restaurant....WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL !!!!
The location is wonderful, the food is wonderful and the atmosphere and decor...wonderful!!!!
I would definitely go here again and again if I was in the area.
It is located just across the street from the Hot Springs National Park. It is one of the main remaining bar locations left in the city. It is gorgeous decorations and dark paneling. Wonderful old bar with huge mirror and mantle oak framing around it with gorgeous art work in the carvings. It also has a great history behind it.
I would definitely recommend this to everyone and eat here again!!
Tony had the Reuben Sandwich with homemade fries and he said in his 50 yrs on earth..this was the BEST on EARTH REUBEN SANDWICH!!!!
Great pricing and the beers were so cold!!!
    Great Tea!!!

A beautiful bar with a great atmosphere and lots of history.

Come in for dinner as the food is fabulous, or jus for drinks from the fabulous beer selection.

    Either way you can't lose.

And with several of the bar staff being stunning young women, there is nothing to complain about in this prohibition era speak easy.

And can't miss when in Hot Springs.

The (only) place to go if you're in Hot Springs. It's got some history, read about it on the menu. Decent beer selection for the somewhat sleepy town. Live music on Sunday night wasn't bad. Bartender was nice, food (burger & fried pickles) was great, and the price was fair.

    Really fun place!
Live music on a Thursday and open late.
    Great Chicken Wings
I was too buzzed to study the beer selection in depth, but they seemed to have all of the common goods.

    Breakdown.
    Ambiance 9
    Service 8
    Crowd 8
    Drinks/Beer Selection 8
Over all a solid place to go if you find yourself on bath house row some evening in search of a good chicken wing or burger and a drink.

Cute female servers and bartenders always a plus in my book

Ventured in Friday night on our walk through historic downtown after dinner. Live music which was nice and no cover like all the other places we found with live music. Lots of people were eating and the food looked good. The place was packed and standing room only downstairs. I wouldn't wait till after nine to go if you want a seat.

Sunday, we walked back in with some friends after breakfast to show them the bar. The history on this place is great. The huge wooden barback was built in one piece in Cincinnati, OH and floated down the Mississippi River to Memphis where it boarded a train to Malvern. It was so big, a special cart had to be built to bring it over pulled by a horse to Hot Springs and the front of the building had to be removed to install it.

We took full advantage of the early Sunday hours as the place was empty and we could spend time looking at all the historical photos all over the walls of the club and of the "gangsters" who frequented there. We met the current owner Mike Petty. Hell of a guy and so very nice. He told us numerous stories regarding "ghosts" of the bar and paranormal happenings as well as history behind some of the photographs in the bar. Felt like we were on our own private tour. Love the history on this place and we will be back for sure for food, music and drinks.

My only complaint and the reason for only 4 stars is that Friday night, it got way too smoky. He did tell us that he plans to go non-smoking soon so when that happens, I'll bump up my rating.

On a long cross country drive we found this place while looking for unique things to see and do.  Hearing that it was a hang out of Al Capone's was a good draw, and worth it in and of itself. The burger was amazing, the people great.  I'm not a southern girl but this place had me wishing I was!

Stopped in on a rainy day for a drink. Good beer prices, amazing sausage and cheese plate to snack on, and fun historical facts in the walls. If you don't smoke, heads up-the peeps smoke inside.

Raining. Fall day. Ditched work. In love.
Ran into the Ohio Club looking for a warm room, with a cold beer. We found it. Beautiful hard core mobster decor surrounded the room. Ardor of smoke penetrated the bar.
Would recommend: Replace T.V. for some tunes.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and we had the club and hamburger. Fries a bit under cooked but onion rings good. Loved the history and the bar decor.  I wouldn't want to go when it is busy because smoking is allowed since the primary business is a bar.  All in all not bad

In here as I write this. I travel a lot and most of my travel is during the week. If there's one thing I've learned in my travels is that you won't find a decent place to drink during the week anywhere you go. I was referred here from a local. Tuesday karaoke leaves a little to be desired. But, I can say that the bartender is pretty awesome. Never an empty beer here. Pretty good selection of beer and liquor as well. More liquor than beer on that, but the beer selection is still pretty impressive for a bar that (as far as I know) doesn't even advertise their selection. I hear really good things about their food as well. Definitely a place to check out if you're in town. By far the best bar I've found for a weekday.

On the food alone I gave the Ohio Club 3 stars.  The food is pretty good.  Anyone who likes grill food will like The Ohio Club for food.  So far, I had a Sausage and Cheese Platter which was pretty good and a Ham Melt with Fries which was good -- but greasy as crap!  I won't complain though... the food IS good -- and as always the Ohio Club is still my favorite bar in town.  On the drinks and atmosphere I still give the Ohio Club 5 stars!

September 10, 2011, Hot Springs Bike Rally Weekend

Fun band in the corner as you walk in. we went up stairs to find a spot to chill and have a drink. This place was super busy! even during the day! If you do not smoke, save yourself and everybody around you and go to another bar, because this is a SMOKING bar. So it is SMOKEY! But not too bad the fans help a lot. Waitresses were right on the spot. Never had to wait long for a drink. We just wanted a snack with our beers so we ordered the Fried Pickles. Oh how I love fried pickles! Especially if they are chips and not spears. And Ohio's Fried Pickles are chips! Woohoo! They were golden brown and delicious. Crispy and crunchy with that slight dilly bite when you bit into them! The only neg thing I have to say about them is they need to be shaken off a bit more because they were a little oily. The bev nap on the plate was soaked in grease.

I'm not a bar person, went here to listen to Blues during a festival. We had the cheese dip with sausage, patty melt, & Ohio burger. All the food was fantastic, rich in flavor, fresh and hot. At 7:00 at night got right in and service was great. The Mia Tia was meh, Orange juice in the screwdriver was meh. When we ordered coconut rum and cranberry.... Oh yeah excellent. Friend order Grey goose with pineapple and it was yummy. Friendly crowd and even with the smokers the fans kept the place vented. I'll go back and feel comfortable with just the girls.
If you go to Hot Springs you've got to go there and read the menu tons of history.
The band was great and the servers friendly.

To get a taste of the local bar life, come here and grab one of their great beers on tap. Every time I come here I meet a new friendly local and hear some great tall tales. The Ohio Club has a unique history that involves Al Capone frequenting the pub during his heyday in Hot Springs. Although there is a poster on the wall that divulges his entire history to you, don't be afraid to ask one of the bartenders to tell you about it. They'll show you the bullet holes in the ceiling from an infamous shootout. Perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing part of the bar is the large mirror that stretches all the way across. Very beautiful and fun to check your hair out in.
As far as drinks, I'm partial to their Shocktop and Fat Tire they have on tap. If I'm not downing a beer, I'm likely to get a kamikazee. The girls at the Ohio Club can make you ANY drink and I do mean ANY at your request. You can see the bar stocked with all types of liquor. They also sell nice cigars to puff on if that's your bag.
If you party too hard at the bar and need to sober up, don't worry - they have a kitchen in the back. Just ask for a menu and they'll whip up a sandwich or some chicken tenders. The cooks in the back are just as sexy as the bartenders in the front too!
There usually isn't a cover for this bar and you're always safe walking to and from this destination. If you're coming to Hot Springs, make sure you stop by here!
