Decent, but very friendly service for a Friday night. Â But I think Iwas served a leather shoe instead of a prime rib sandwich and my friend described his chicken quesadilla as "health food". Â Looked dry....c'mon Carson. Â No go. Â Oh yea, you can't throw peanut shells on the ground anymore. Â What are we, up North?
Review Source:Mediocre at best! Â Watch out for the manger (I think) that likes to do everything in the restaurant. He likes to handle your food with his bare hands and then proceed to itch his nose. At this guy out of the picture and you might have a better steakhouse. Â The only thing I could do was watch the guy touch all the food with his bare hands. Grab a bunch of fires and toss them on a plate... Â Grab that baked potato and man handle it again with bare hands, after itching either is face hands or other body parts.
I will never return to the place unless the remove the "larger" pretending to be cook in the kitchen.
Maybe the health department needs to go undercover...
We had a server that should have never been allowed to serve people. Â A friend ordered a salad with extra dressing, and he told her that she would have to ask for one when the food arrived so they wouldn't charge her extra. Â Wtf? Â someone is ordering $10-15 in food and another so much in drinks and you cant spare a few ounces of ranch dressing? Â What other corners are they cutting. Â One other friend had ordered a bowl of chili that tasted like it came out of a can. Â Hello? Â The sign says "TEXAS STATE LINE" when you walk in the place, but the chili is bad? Â I am sure glad I wasn't with my Texan friends. Â
Now I ordered a steak, I would give it about a 2 out of 10. Â I asked for some A1 (a comment on the quality of the beef in itself) Â and was given a little cup. Â Glad I wasn't charged extra for it. Â
I think they didn't want people at the other tables to see someone with a bottle of steak sauce on their table. Â
They need to improve their food and service everyone seemed to be off their game tonight. Â
Will I go again? Â Probably but not for a long while, to give them time to straighten things up.
