For those with the negative comments you just don't get what the casino is all about. This place is a casual restaurant set on the waters of a historic and culturally rich Lake Chautauqua. It is known for its beer selections, chicken wings, ice cream and fabulous view. That's it and thats what the long time visitors of the casino want. Â We love the place!!!
Review Source:This restaurant needs to close it doors. Hands down, its the most disgusting place you will ever eat at. Any of the positive reviews on Yelp, or anywhere else are family members of the owner. There is no possible way anyone could write a positive review about this place. Worth BBQ'ing at your own house, drinkin' on your own dock. Less bird doo-doo! This place is bad news.
Review Source:I cannot believe the amount of waste this place creates. Every beer is served in a new plastic cup. They refuse to refill them. Our wings came with styrofoam plates (10 plates for a party of 6, the waste continues.) that we didn't use and tried to give back. Our server said they have to toss them after they have been delivered to the table. Come on! The rest of the world cannot make up for wasteful idiots.
My sister ordered a Cobb salad, that was $12, and it was pathetic.
Shame on you casino, you used to be cool.
Great home made ranch!
The Casino is easily one of the more popular establishments around Lake Chautauqua. Located on Bemus Point right on the water, it is  almost always  busy during the season. You have the option to dine inside, in the decent sized dining room, or you can opt for the excellent deck over looking the water, or if you have a boat, you can dock right up next to the restaurant. On the weekends the servers will help you dock, and you can eat right on the boat. Â
The beer selection here is decent, and when you buy by the pitcher is really reasonably priced. 7:50 for a pitcher of Labatt Blue. That's cheaper then back home in Columbus !
The food is reasonably priced for a tourist town. I swear that the casino has some of the best wings in the area. They are large, juicy and have a really great sauce that is not to hot, but still makes you realize it is there. I really enjoy all the "buffalo" items on the menu which come in pretty much every form imaginable. Wrap, Burger, Quesadilla ( a personal favorite), Sandwhich, Pizza, and Mac and Cheese.
Portion sizes are pretty adequate, and the fries are fantastic. They have a really good batter on them, that makes me want to keep eating them. Â The other sandwhiches are a good value, as well.
The actual parking area is pretty small, so you might have to park in the town and walk, which is not a big deal.
Casino was my favorite place in the world until today.
I flew in from Florida and the first place I wanted to visit was the Village Casino in Bemus Point.. Â That feeling did not last long.
1. Wings were $1.00 each.
2. Flies everywhere!
3. Local beer was $5.95 each for small plastic cup.
4. Beef on Wick had 2 small slices of beef, dry roll and no Horseradish!
The Casino is really a great place to stop by either by boat or by land and offers a great view, right on the water, of Lake Chautauqua facing Stow from the Bemus side.
Though they serve rather good burgers, sandwiches, cones and have a decent bar, for me it is their chicken wings, Buffalo style, of course. You can get them mild, medium, hot or suicide but anyway you order them they are done in true Buffalo style perfection served with celery to dip in a blue cheese dressing.
A great value in a beautiful location!
The food is simple but prepared well and quickly. The outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy the beauty of Lake Chautauqua.  We had lunch and were pleased that most  items were between 8 and 10 dollars.  We especially enjoyed the wings, haddock fry, and milkshakes.
Delicious fried foods right on Lake Chautauqua. Sometimes, a big ass plate of fried food is all you want.
You can drive up in your boat, and they will help you dock. You can get the food in your boat if you choose, but we usually go and sit on the outdoor patio.
I've had the fish fry and the coconut shrimp (oh, how I love coconut shrimp), and both are delicious. It's nothing fancy, but it sure hits the spot when you're jonesing for some delicious bar food. Pair that with a nice beer/fruity frozen drink and you're good to go.
The prices are a little inflated because it's ON the lake, but you're paying for the view. DEAL WITH IT.
During the season, this place is a wonderful destination at night! It's a bit of a dive - so put on those flip flops and order yourself a miller light! Â They frequent live music - ranging from amazing to hilarious - and dancing like a fool is required - and a blast! . Â
To be honest, the food wasn't half bad. Â I was very surprised! I must say the BEST thing on the menu are their pretzels. Â OH MY WORD - these soft pretzels are heavenly. Â The best part about them is this garlic butter sauce that comes with them. Â I made everyone at my table sample, and all of them went "what on earth is that, it's fantastic!" Â Granted, who doesn't love garlic butter, but ... they do garlic butter right!
Warning - At night this place can get rather toasty due to all the wonderful music and dancing, but if you take turns with inside/outside, you'll be fine.
The Village Casino is a great place to stop when you are visiting Chautauqua. Â You can walk, drive or boat there, so there is really no excuse not to give it a try. Â
It is mainly bar food, but it is pretty good bar food. Â Inexpensive drinks with pitchers available make this a very sociable spot. Â It is also child friendly. Â Make sure that you try the wings when you stop here- they are great- as are the fries!
We took a party of 25-30 there the other night, a few days after taking my father there on the evening before his wedding. They have some incredible wing sauces, and an extremely hard-working and efficient staff... demerits for the poor beer selection and the questionable mixed seafood fry-up
