Stopped in several times food is ok - if you want spicy you ask for it they can't read your mind. Have had various items from chinese food menu and sandwiches are ok. If you want a 5 star chinese rest. then keep going but keep in mind where you are... in the country and they are trying to make a living by filling a void.there are two places to eat in Catlett and they are right next to each other. If you talk to the staff you will find out they are very friendly.
As for the "junk" it is like a Dollar general store with imported items from Asia - you can get a nice Tiger or patriotic soft blanket cheap and it lasts... if you are driving by it is worth a look if for nothing else than a soda and bag of chips.
Walking into the Catlett Market is like stepping into a roadside flea market in North Carolina in the 1980's. The far wall is decorated with Native American looking blankets, and faded banners, which they claim to print. There may have been some flags and other random crap hanging as well, but it was so busy looking I couldn't tell what half of it was. Half the store looks like a flea market full of junk your grandmother left behind when she croaked. Â There are tables with boxes of unwanted junk everywhere. Aside from that, its like a 7-11, with a Chinese/Deli area in the back. Very unusual place. Good if you need some munchies or ice.
Review Source:I stopped in late afternoon to get some Chinese 'to go'.
I order the Triple Delight with fried rice.
It was ready to go in about 10 minutes and it was $11.50, it was $2 bucks for the rice alone.
The rice was OK.
The Triple Delight ...well... it wasn't.
It was less than average.
It was flavorless and less than fresh, ultimately you compare it to other restaurants that have similar.
2 Stars, is as far as I can go.
One star for location out in the stix and another for the rice.
