Its pub food and I thought it was damn good.
Our waiter was a lively chap with a unique voice...I liked his level of service.
Our food was good...but it was bar food and the wifes stew was damn good.
Nice job.
We played some shuffleboard and that was a blast. Â Bar games. Â
I have one complaint...and its more me than them. Â I dont like that vinegar smell of this place. Â I know it comes from fish and chips and its in the wood, not the air. Â but still...its the first thing that hits you and i'm sure it freaks some back out the door. Â Oh well. Â Dont come into a bar if you dont like what a bar smells like...right?
Thanks for a nice cheap dinner. Â We had a fun time.
Love cellar pub. Â Best spot for game and beer night. Â Not sure about the food because I don't think I've ever done anything but drink (a lot) here. Â Also cellar pub: how much to rent your buck hunter machine the night of my wedding? It's kind of "our" thing (my fiance and I) I could pick it up in a truck and drive it back the next morning :-) Seriously, I would pay you way more than you'd make on it a night.
Review Source:This was our favorite place in Ketchum by far. Why? The atmosphere is just a little bit hipster, a little bit casual, and a whole lotta good! The food is typical bar food: hot wings, pizza, and the like, but it was GOOD bar food. We returned twice for evening meals and a drink or two. It's obviously the place where the young folks are in Ketchum, and since we're still kinda young, we felt more comfortable here than anyplace else in Ketchum. Props to the bartenders and staff for being attentive and customer service oriented.
Review Source:I'm a little torn how to rate this, so I'll stick with 4 stars, since I am a fan, and let the pros and cons speak for themselves:
Pros:
-Big Buck Hunter
-people are generally very friendly
-cheap-ish drinks
-no cover
-probably the place where the youngest/best looking people in ketchum congregate
-crazy, drunk people occasionally dance on the chairs
Cons:
-you're still in Idaho
-waaaay too crowded most of the time
-sometimes almost impossible to actually get drinks from the bar
-after ordering the same drink multiple times for four days in a row, one douchey bartender will insist that it costs more and be a total tool about it
-people are easily offended
Overall, the best place if you're staying in sun valley and want a bar to go to, although I would probably shoot myself in the face if I lived in ketchum and had to go here year round.
Chill bar "downstairs" from the street in Ketchum and the bartenders are pretty cool. Â It can get crowded, especially in the winter time around Christmas and New Years, but still fun. Â In the summertime, you can sit out near the front entrance. Â There are game tables in the back, as well as more space to sit down. Â College paraphernalia up everywhere and the music they play is a mix and usually pretty chill.
