    Good (bar) food.  Awful service.

I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun with ranch and bacon and a side of waffle fries.  I received a buffalo chicken sandwich on a ciabatta bun without ranch and bacon and a side of normal fries.  Then, inexplicably, at the end of the meal, a non-buffalo chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun with ranch and bacon and a side of waffle fries showed up.

I sampled from both options, and both were pretty good (and I now have lunch for a few days this week), but the experience was confusing.

Also, one of the guys in our group didn't get his order until really late, accused the waitress of lying, and made her cry.  I was sad.  He didn't get potato skins.  It was awkward.

Used to be alright, with good food, and great service--used to be a semi-regular. Within the past 6 months the service has gotten to be TERRIBLE. Waitresses literally do not keep track of how many beers you order--happened more than once to people I've been with. We all wait at least a full 10 minutes to even get the attention of a waitress to order something....and you're lucky if they remember to bring it. The staff is frankly rude, and spends most of their time jerking around than their job.
Will not return. It's awful. Save yourself a bad experience and go someplace else.

Not bad food, $3.00 appetizers after 11 and $2.50 micro brew pints and half off burgers on Wednesday besides the cheap prices... thats really all it has going for it. some of the "regulars" are loud and obnoxious and i wouldn't leave my belongings at the table unattended. Good food for a bar though, even though they charge you for each additional sauce cup. If your from outta town and looking for a quick place to grab a beer go down the highway another exit.

Service is hit or miss. The red head bartender is great... the older one lacks class.

4 stars for what it is - a bar.

One of the more decent non-downtown or East Lansing bars in the area. I have never eaten the food here, but it seems pretty standard.

I've always had great, fun, and experienced waitresses and the drinks never seem watered down. They have a lot of unique shots and specials. The crowd, however, is a predictable small town mix of families with younger children, town drunks, young scruffy twenty-something boys who are too shy to hit on anyone, and every thing in between. Not really a great social scene. There are pool tables though that are rarely unavailable - huge plus!

The best part of Champion's, undeniably, is the patio. This place is so chill in the summertime! For a casual night with a friend or object of desire that requires no fuss, check the patio out... there's also a DJ who will do their best to liven things up a bit.

I've been here a couple times and I never need to go back.  Food is standard/sub-standard bar fare.  Service is mediocre at best.  The atmosphere and decor is downright depressing.  This place seems to cater to a hard-drinking and rather rough crowd.

Champion is ok - typical bar food that's actually pretty good.  I'd recommend their pizza and the fried cheese bread.  That's what normally draws us to eat here.

The service is lousy though.  Expect un-attentive waitstaff who take several minutes before greeting you or filling your drinks / delivering a menu.  If you want a drink refill, forget it.

My bar is pretty low when visiting a sports bar so this place really didn't have to do much. While they do have a big variety of beers & standard bar food, it's really a dingy, greasy little spot.

I give them a plus b.c they have trivia on Tuesday nights so you can have a good time - but even that isn't particularly entertianing & I have yet to see any prizes or real "competition"  (been there twice) .

Beware the Texas Burger isn't a burger - it's a smothered plate full of stuff. Also, they wings are better if you order them Cajun style. They're breaded but better than non-breaded w. their sauces.  I had a medium sauce & despite the fact I love spicy food, this one was just plain fire in a bottle -  borderline Thai spicy...

I'll probably return out of conveniance (it's 2 blocks aways) or if a game is being broadcasted that isn't on TV at home.

Went here with my dad and brother to watch a football game and have a couple beers. It served that purpose very well. Tons of screens showing all manner of sports. We had a couple appetizers in addition to the brews and all were good. The waitresses were friendly and attractive. This seems to be a good, straightforward sports bar. They have Buzztime trivia, a couple pool tables, several video games and a very clean restroom.

Visited again over the Thanksgiving holiday and again had a good time. Excellent waitresses.
