Character's Famous BBQ

Best Rib I ever put in my mouth.

This is the essence of a true "Hole in the wall".  I drove past Characters on a weekend adventure.  I looked up the reviews online and made it a future destination.

The time came when I had a day off.  I drove 30 miles to try Characters out.  I wasn't disappointed.  It definitely is a small place.  What it lacks in size, it certainly makes up for in quality.  This is definitely some of the best BBQ pork and beans that I have ever had!  That is no easy feat for me to say that.  Well done!

I loved this place. a small hole in the wall roadside place. Excellent food, excellent prices, and excellent music. I had the Combo plate with brisket and pork with sides of baked beans and potato salad plus a piece of cake.
