  This Chili's used to be a decent place to dine. It has gone so far down hill it's pathetic. We had to wait for a table even though the restaurant was less than 50% occupied. More than a few tables were empty with dirty dishes and trash still sitting on them and no one even attempted to clean them off. We sat down after the hostess had us follow her to the table where 4 menus were and she kept walking, never said "This is it." or "Enjoy your meal." or anything, just kept walking and never looked back. The waitress was very apathetic. You could tell she did not like her job or want to be there. The filthy, table we were across from remained untouched and uncleaned for the entirety of our dinner. At one point our waitress walked over to it and said to another staff member that was across the room that someone should get to this and start cleaning it off. It took forever to get our appetizer and we were considering getting up and walking out. Needless to say, the waitress got the tip she deserved. In fact she was overtipped considering she deserved nothing at all. This is not an isolated incident either. The last time we went to the Shelbyville Chili's it was bad, but not this bad. It was probably a year ago and my only complaint was the slow service due to being understaffed. Save your money. This place is disgusting. The dregs of Shelbyville hang out at the bar and it's frightening to walk to the restroom - which is also filthy and disgusting.

  Waitress is ditzy!  Under staffed and full of lunch time boozers. Music too loud. Not somewhere I care to visit again.  How hard can it be to get order correct?  I ordered "California Club" lunch combo,  I informed waiter that I did not want French fries, he even asked me, "if you don't want any fries, would you like anything else?" I asked for a house salad to which he replied,  "that will be $1 extra"  I agreed and minutes later a wilted salad appeared.  After several more minutes my lunch arrived complete with the French fries that I did not want!  I really don't care to dine here ever again!
