Christy's Euro Pub

Average food and insanely crowded. The place is small inside as well as at the outdoor seating area. Favorite hangout for young college kids if that tells you anything. If that isn't your thing go elsewhere.

CHristys is a local favorite it serves great beer and great specials then menus carries the usual fare for a pub however the Brunch menus is what makes it really special.  The item im talking about of course is the Stoners delight which is really a french toast sandwich stuffed with eggs veggies, and meat and served with warm syrup on the side.  Many places have a sandwich 'like' this but christyshas truly perfected it.  Next time your in greenville at least try it, its totally worth it!!

I was on the fence about whether to give Christy's 3 or 4 stars.  Technically, the place is precisely what I look for in a bar.  Good prices, wide selection of beers, vegetarian options, and most importantly, no frat boys or sorority girls or downtown sleaze contaminating the food and bev.  But I guess everything has a price, because the Greek life/Jersey Shore wannabes are replaced with artsy hipster types who generally keep to themselves but have the capability of being just as stuck up and obnoxious as the downtown.  I love the black bean burger but hate having to withstand various glares for not wearing ?vintage? clothing in order to enjoy it.  The bartenders add to the pretentious vibe... It seems that they don't show interest in customers they don't recognize.  Still, I give Christy's four stars because despite the unwelcoming bar staff and off-putting clientele, it's a fine establishment where the owners/managers truly seem to care about the quality of their goods.
