Church Street Deli & Pizza

Inconsistent food, but there are no other choices in the area for a large sandwich or pizza.  The 'old' Deli (before it burned down and was rebuilt) felt more genuinely like a deli, whereas this new building has the feel of a house that doubles as a pizza parlor.  The food generally takes far too long to prepare, and the sandwiches, considering the quality, are overpriced, but when your choices are limited, you take what you can get.

Great food!  Very friendly.  We had the buffalo chicken sandwich special.  The chicken was juicy, the sourdough and swiss were just right.  We were camping at the state park and got our food to go, it was nice that they asked if we need utensils and such.  I will go back for sure.  Parking in front was full, but municipal lot was right across the street.

Church Street Deli makes some of the best sandwiches I've ever had, specifically The Pontiac (named after a sleepaway camp just a short drive away). It's a breaded chicken cutlet on a long sub. The russian dressing makes it. One order can feed two people but if you want it all to yourself, it'll run you $7 which isn't much considering how huge the sandwich is.

There are booths to sit in and it's air-conditioned. The folks that work there are great. They take your order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. Sweet.
