  My favorite spot for Saturday buffet fried catfish. Whole or filet chunks are fried to perfection. Sides are corn on cob,French fries, baked beans,cole slaw, raw onion, hot peppers and hush puppies. Buffet starts at 5:00..doors locked until then. Staff super friendly. health rating was 94 on 05-25-13.

  We really enjoyed the lunch buffet at Clara's which consisted of all-you-can eat fried chicken, pork chops, homemade mac-n-cheese, delicious sweet potatoes, yummy stuffing, carrots marinated in pickle juice and much more. The atmosphere was inviting, the buffet came with a sweet tea and it totaled $16 for the two of us. We got to meet the owner and her daughter-in-law who were lovely people and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you are ever in the Clanton area. This really isn't a good fit for vegetarians however as most of the items have meat or animal fat.

  Such a gem!  Everyone is super friendly and the delicious, hot, crispy fried chicken will hook you.  Fresh beans and perfect sweet tea made the whole experience great.

  What a great restaurant. Off the beaten path but always busy so the food stays fresh and hot. They don't pretend to be anything they aren't. Good country food, hot and ready. Serve yourself from the food bar but plenty of staff to help you when needed. Great place to take kids and a big family.

  Hands down the best country restaurant in Clanton. The best fried chicken in a 100 mile radius. It is a buffet and it usually has fried chicken and salisbury steak with greens and mashed potatoes. On Friday, they have Catfish buffet and it is the best catfish you can find in Clanton!
