Cliché

Okay, so we love South Lake Tahoe but...let face it, a lot of what is advertised is not what you get. You have to sift through some "low brow" claims to get to the good stuff.

Cliche is the real deal! My wife and I stopped in last night after dinner and it was all that it claimed to be. A top shelf bar that has a humidor with a nice selection of cigars.

The ventilation system that is designed to pull the smoke out worked so well, my wife (a non-cigar smoker) had no problem sitting and enjoying an after dinner drink while smoked two cigars. This alone sets it above any other cigar bar I've ever visited, but wait don't order yet! The service was warm, friendly and yes, classy. Not a word I use often. I wish I would have gotten her name to thank her here, but the experience was definitely made for better having her serve us.

If you enjoy a fine cognac, whiskey, scotch or almost anything else you can think of to drink and a fine cigar in an atmosphere of elegance, served by people that truly enjoy being there and serving you, this is your place.

Can't believe there's not more reviews for this place. Was in Tahoe for a after New Years getaway and stumbled upon this place in Harrahs. Usually only open Friday & Saturday but was open for the holiday. Very comfortable lounge, smoke smell is barely discernable. Classy but an occasional, middle of the road, smoker like myself and my wife felt right at home. Decent selection of cigars, from flavored CAO's for the ladies, or lighter smokers, all the way up to high end. Bar is mostly liquor, lots of scotch & whiskey, also wine and martini's. Melanie was our hostess and did a great job of tending to our needs and making sure we enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely be back next time we're in town

Very cool lounge/cigar bar that's great for a pre-game to the night or to take a break from the tables. Its located on the 16th floor at the Harrah's casino with a decent view of the lake. The bartender was awesome....just wish i could remember her name. It's small so get there early.
