Been here a couple of times and both times I ordered the same fish dinner plate. Â Both times it was very good, but not consistent in that each time the fish is fried in a different batter. Â The first time it came out in like a golden beer batter, the second time it tasted as though the fish had been breaded in Kentucky Kernel (I know it is misspelled, that is how the company spells it) Â Seasoned Flour. Â Like I said, both times good though. Â
The waitresses both times were very friendly and warm, and the setting is like any other truck stop diner that I have been to.
Side note, Kentucky Kernel is an awesome batter for fixing fried green tomatoes should you like those as well :P
