  It's old and dirty. Not really nice club. I have to say that I may not want to go there alone.

  I went here with a few friends following a wedding down the street.  I live in New York City, and I try as hard as I can not to pay covers on the island of Manhattan, let alone Macon, GA, but I relented because this seemed like the place to be.  The security guard at the door was....really really nice!  He joked around with my girlfriend and I as he checked our IDs.  We paid our $5 each and headed for the bar.  The place was slammed with Macon's finest young people.  The best thing about being in Macon, $7 Grey Goose and soda.  Those are like $12 each in NYC.  We ordered round after round while the DJ played great hip hop.  By the end of the night the bar tenders knew me by name, and made for great conversation.  We even got a free round of grand marinier shots.  The clientèle was young (we're mid 20's) but they themselves were very polite and friendly.  In a packed club in NYC, one should expect at least a few blows to be thrown as people jostle around and run into each other, but everyone here was "pardon me," "excuse me," "oh, I'm terribly sorry," etc.  Ah, southern hospitality.  I've got another wedding here in October and I'll be back.
