Club Rush

Worst  service I have ever seen. I was there for the new years eve party and my friends and I bought the Club Rush VIP tickets, which also got us admission to Harper's. When we arrived, the doors to Rush was locked and we tried going in through Harper's and they told us we had to go through Rush to get in, even though our VIP tickets said we had access to both bars. The door guy had no idea what the hell was going on. As we were trying to get inside, a group of 30 other people without wristbands walked through and the staff was oblivious to it, so that really messed up their bar count because this was a ticket only event. Let it be known that a bunch of their staff quit before the holidays because Trish Riley, the owner, is crazy.

We were told that we were going to get 5 course entree meals and appetizers, according to the facebook event. We were told by employees that we only get appetizers and breakfast. They wouldn't even let us touch the food upstairs in the Harper's buffet dinner. Even though we had VIP tickets and access to Harper's, they wouldn't serve us food because we had club rush VIP wristbands instead of Harper's. To top it off, we didn't get our appetizers, only 3 or 4 tables out of the 20+ got them.

This event was poorly organized, new employees had no idea what the hell they were doing, management was bad, and Trish Riley is the worst bar owner in this city. She was bombed and acting classless. No wonder management at this place is bad, they have a drunk psycho running this place. What a waste of $20 for service that I didn't even get.

I wasn't looking for a high brow club in e. Lansing, (I'm not crazy), but this place just blew.
There was only 1 bartender in this huge space (although I can't blame them bc but for our group of 15, there would have only been 5 ppl in there) & she was slow.
The music was an awful mix of super ghetto music w. some horrid mixes of Latin music. Note: we were only there for the latin music, & even after the dj talked to our group he couldn't pull something decent together when he threw it on... Again, wasn't looking for a total Latin night, but this whole place was awful. I'd rate it 0 if allowed...

This place has changed names more times than a serial killer.
Overpriced and bouncers who think they are the Incredible Hulk.
Don't waste your time!
