BOTTOM LINE: Apparently, this is *the* local watering hole for SSM.

Downtown SSM is pretty dead on the weekends, especially when it gets cold. Restos close early and it almost feels like a ghost town. I was recommended to check out Coch's from a few local waitresses who bubbled on about their ongoing karaoke contest on Friday nights (I can dig that!). I ended up missing it, but when I swung by Saturday, this place packed up pretty quick. The beats were bumping (think top 40, with a electronic leaning) and the pool tables were busy. A multitude of flat screens were broadcasting sports. If you ever find yourself in the 'hood, this ain't a bad place to pass the time.
