Excellent coffee. I risked getting a mocha the first time I passed through (I'm an infrequent mocha drinker because I find they often taste way too sweet like hot chocolate) and I was pleasantly surprised. A very nice balance of coffee and chocolate. Got a regular black coffee without any fixings on the second stop and it was great-- not burnt or weak. Also had a yummy breakfast sandwich. The ladies behind the counter were very sweet and helpful. The only thing that would make this place perfect would be wifi since it's kind of hard to come by at coffee shops in this region (and sometimes you'd rather sit in a cafe than the library).
Review Source:This is a real diamond of a place. Â I was on a busload of seniors traveling from Deadwood, SD, to Longmont, CO. Â We stopped at a place called The Outpost in Lusk and were informed in no uncertain terms that they didn't have staff to take care of a busload. Â So we went back to downtown Lusk and split up looking for places to eat. Â Those of us who happened upon The Coffee Shoppe were really lucky. Â When we entered and said we had quite a large group, they were happy to welcome us and serve us. Â There was plenty of room for us all to sit, and the two women who took or orders, prepared, and delivered them to us were great. Â They were quick and efficient and the food was delicious. Â The value was excellent. Â The coffee shop itself is charming, but with our large group they were able to open up the back (which joins with the pizza place next door) and had plenty of room for everyone. Â Some of us had their milk shakes or malts and everyone was delighted with our choice of restaurants. Â I expect this place will be a regular stop on other trips to or through that part of Wyoming. Â Thanks, ladies. Â You made our day!
