Coffee Society Cafe

What a great little shop! In the small town of Lillington, NC, you would not expect to find a "gem" like Coffee Society Cafe. Not only is the atmosphere in this coffee shop great, but the coffee is amazing! My favorite is the Coffee Society Mocha - a wonderful mix of coffee, chocolate and caramel. They have free WiFi too, which I always take advantage of. It's a great shop, close to campus and fun to hang-out at. They sometimes have live music on certain nights and they appreciate the community - not only to students work there, but they also have a good amount of student art hanging on their walls. I hope Lillington, NC attracts more local businesses like this one.

I am a graduate student in the busy, busy city of Buies Creek/Lillington, NC.  Think Mayberry, NC but a bit slower-paced.  We do have a Starbucks in our student center, and the ladies that work there are the nicest ladies that you have ever met (they make very lovely smoothies as well) but I like to support independent businesses when I can and the Coffee Society Cafe is one of these.  When I have a two hour break or so I can walk over there, have my pick of their espresso drinks or drip coffees and walk back to the religion building feeling refreshed.  It's a lovely little place.
