Stopped here while staying in Watertown based on the many positive reviews.  I probably expected too much but found the food to be average.  I had the fish and chips which were bland though the texture of the beer batter was good.  Someone else in my party had the Shepherds pie (actually Cottage Pie) which was mostly potatoes but got an average review.  I wouldn't call it authentic Irish fare but there's not much competition in Watertown.

Was in town on business and wanted to try something local.  The decor is appropriate.  The food was really good.  I had the bangers and mash, my companion had fish and chips app portion and a house salad.  There was A LOT of sausage on my plate.  I love sausage though but I would have been happy with some more greens or something on my plate.  The sausage had a good flavor.  The gravy for the potatoes was good.  My only gripe was that the starches could have been hotter.  The potatoes tasted good but weren't that hot.  The chips for my companion were not very hot either.  He was please with the house salad though as it was made with romaine as opposed to iceberg.  Overall, great value for the price.

Delicious food, average prices, great cozy atmosphere. With the pub image that it gives off, I would expect for it to have a better beer selection, however except for Guinness and the normal North Country picks, they're lacking. I've had the sweet chili burger, stuffed veggie portabella, Guinness gold wings, and the scallop salad and all were great! I would venture here more often if the beer list was more extensive!

Was next to rink, so we stopped in for some drinks before a game.  Not a bad place.  It's a pub.  Is probably hoppin' on St. Patrick's day!

This may be my new favorite place in Watertown.  The food was great and the prices were really reasonable.  I had the French onion soup, which was wonderful.  As an entree, I had the Shepherd's Pie, which was delicious.  There was cheese melted on top, which was a different touch, but an excellent addition.  I had the Sam Adams' Winter Ale, which was on tap.  They even had the special Sam Adams glasses that optimize the flavor of the beer.  The waitress was attentive and the atmosphere was great.  I had never been inside this building before and was somewhat surprised at how cozy it was.

Well, I think I may have a new favorite place in Watertown.

Timing, apparently, is key ~ I showed up between two different dinner rushes, and had the place essentially to myself for about an hour, and then things got busy again.

The decor is heavy on woods, but it fits well. It presents a understated Irish theme, with neither the heavy handed manner of a straight-up bar, nor the family friendly schmaltz of a primarily family-dinner joint. So, it's appropriate for both, but would probably work best as a date-night meal, or pre-party meal with friends. Also good for business dinner with drinks.

I had the Irish Nachos, the Sheppard's Pie, and a good sampling of the draft beers. All the food was plentiful and delicious. I stongly reccomend the Sheppard's pie !

The service was friendly, prompt and overall outstanding.

    I really like this place.

I love it here! Since my friends and I love Irish food we decided to give this place a try...soooo glad we did. Their service is amazing, they make great mixed drinks, and have a great selection of good food.

I love their fries, (chips, really).  I was disappointed that they were out if the Irish Beef stew the day that I went, but will be going back to try it.
Also, I really love the 3 course Irish Dinner.. (3 draft beers and a side of fries.)
Great time there! May become my regular dinner spot.

Food is fabulous and generous in proportions.   The bar has everything you'd need and a staff that knows how to do it right.   I've always found everyone to be friendly and welcoming.   The renovation is beautiful, but it can be loud when full.   Can't beat if for lunch and the prices are reasonable.   Keep up the good work!

A dramatic improvement since the remodel.
There's now a good selection of whiskeys.
The food is really good as well.
I fully recommend the Bangers and Mash.

Food is super-delicious, but it's not a place I'll frequent due to the noise level and not very kid friendly. Its always packed with people. A little on the pricey side, too. Still tasty enough that I give it 4 stars.

Ah Coleman's.  Part of one of the two great Watertown Restaurant Empires.

It's actually very nice inside - they must've redone it recently.

The menu has it's Irishy-bits, but it's actually a pretty good selection of food too.  The salads are upscale, the Philly is absolutely enormous, the burgers tasty and the shepherd's pie delicious.  Of the non-Italian restaurants of Watertown, definitely stuck out.

The waitresses were also generally friendly the couple times I've eaten there, though it was a bit depressing that one didn't know the difference between an black-and-tan and a half-and-half.

    Overall a very good meal!

Excellent interior since they've redone it. Nice mahogany throughout. More of a local bar so it's usually pretty quiet. Service is good.

They renovated this place and I think the inside looks really nice. The food here is pretty good as well. My complaint for this place is lack of customers at night. I have been to this place 3 times to chill at a nice bar and had to leave at 2430 - 0100 because there were not enough customers for them to justify staying open (Me and my buddy didnt count I guess) They either need to be advertised more or Watertown's market for the bar scene is going down now that winter approaches and there are tons of other bars in this area. The one saving grace is the bar staff, very friendly..there is one lovely waitress that keeps drawing me back..I think her name was Sonya. Tip her well :-)
