  Ed is the man who has run The Comedy Club down here for 27 years.
  
  I've been to comedy clubs all around Manhattan, so I'm giving this four stars while trying to distance myself from some of the great NYC rooms.
  
  Find a coupon in one of the tourist books to get $3 off the $18 admission price (one coupon will cover everyone in the group).
  
  The comics we saw (Laura Prangley, Laurence Mullaney and Greg Lausch) were very funny. The show starts about 9 and ended before 11. The beers were cheap, but avoid the melon ball drink the waiter suggested (wasn't good).
  
  Had a great time. Will go back one night next summer.
