The Comedy Zone

I think the fact they have comedians like J.J. from "What's Happening?" and Screech from "Saved by the Bell" is neat.

What I DON'T think is neat is that we went there for my birthday last year and the service was so horrible that I complained and I am usually a pushover since I've worked in food service. I let that go as a fluke and went back last month to see comedians as we had won tickets.

To make a long story short, the waitress helped herself to an extra tip which I found out by checking my bank statement a few days later. I contacted the management who went through an "investigation" credited my money back and assured me it was just a mistake.

Please tell me how a someone can mistake a "4" for a "7" when you add up the bill? First of all they look nothing alike but did she think that 36 + 7 = 40? I guess if you tack on a few extra bucks to each charge no one will notice huh?

I won't go back. It's too bad that, since they have fun people come to do shows but I cannot patronize an establishment who knows their wait staff is dishonest.
