We pass through this area a few times a year en route from Cassadega NY to Pittsburgh - this always ends up being about where we want to stop to eat. Â We asked some friends who have a place at Conneaut for a suggestion and they said to try this place. Â
I ordered a seafood quesadilla dinner which consisted of 2 mediumish quesadillas with shrimp, scallops, fake crab, and cheese, as well as rice and beans. Â The cheese in the quesadilla seemed to be partly velveeta which I don't think is authentic by any stretch of the imagination but I'm not above eating velveeta so I can't complain with any real credibility. Â I'd have preferred all real cheese but heck it was also fake crab so... Â
The rice and beans were standard and just fine. Â (They gave my daughter enough for a small village with her kid's quesadilla) Â
My husband had enchiladas and his meal came with a TON of food. Â
Kids had tacos, Â quesadilla, and mini corn dogs and there were no complaints. Â Between us all there was more than enough food to share with the toddler. Â
Chips and salsa plentiful and tasty. Â
I've lived in California and I've been to New Mexico so I know there is better out there but for random middle of the sticks PA I'd declare this pretty darn tasty. Â Easy for kids (everything on kid's menu is $5) Â Â We'll probably be back.
I ate dinner here once while passing through Meadville for a conference. The food is plentiful, tasty, fresh, and surprisingly authentic. My dinner consisted of six seafood enchiladas with green pico de gallo, with a side order of rice and salad. The filling was rich and flavorful; the enchiladas were made with corn tortillas and lots of queso fresco, and the pico de gallo was really good -- hot, with lots of onions and vinegar. Our waiter, who had a number of what looked like prison tattoos, addressed us several times in Spanish, which charmed my dining companions. Lots of Corona posters and colorful margarita drinks. Dinner for three was less than forty dollars, with tip, for a massive amount of food (no alcohol).
