Time Out Tavern

Time Out Tavern is a solid hangout spot in Meadville.  It really shines on Sundays during the NFL Season, as the bar holds many, many TV's and NFL Sunday Ticket.  Pick your favorite team, saddle up in a private booth, and enjoy the show.

Time Out Tavern is connected to Julian's, which is one of the better dining experiences in the area.  You can't go wrong with the 1/2 lb. burgers, which are offered in many different varieties.  (Ranging from traditional, to Caribbean, to slathered in peanut butter.)  Expect standard bar fare that is prepared well, especially fries and wings.  

Drink choices are fairly robust, especially for the beers on tab.  They tend to be an eclectic mix with a fallback to Bud Light/Miller Lite/ Coors Lite.  Mixed drinks tend to be on the strong side, or, if you're a blatant optimist like me, "better value".  

The atmosphere is strange, and weighs heavily on the other patrons currently in the bar.  The bar is smaller, leading to a more intimate atmosphere with your fellow bar-goers. (meaning conversations tend to overlap, and everyone is in everyone else's business.)  Fortunately, if things get too strange, you can just go next door to Julian's for some (relative) peace and quiet.  

Of course, if all else fails, Time Out Tavern is home to the famous touchscreen game, Erotic Photo Hunt.  You could always just sit in the corner and creep out all those people who are trying to dance/ enjoy dinner / root for their favorite NFL team.

This sports bar is as average as they come. Nothing is wrong with it, but at the same time there is nothing that makes it stand out. The bar area is pretty small, there are sofas near the front and some booth seating along the wall. In the back there is a small dance floor. Plenty of TV's to watch games and since it is owned by Julian's next door you can order their food at the bar.

Very clean, and a decent spot in Meadville to watch a game. Just lacks in what I call bar "character"
