I was visiting from out of town and this was my 2nd time at this bar. Â The 2nd time will probably be my last. Â Though the bar itself is very nice the bartender sucked! Â And what's sad is that she was the supervisor. Â I'd hate to see what the other employees would be like! Â She was friendly at first since we were the only ones in there but then some people came in she knew and that's all she wrote! Â Other people came in and waited for drinks at a table and she never acknowledged them. Â Consequently, they left. Â After our first drink she never even looked to see if we needed another one and after it sat there empty for a very long time, I'd had enough!! Â She was very unprofessional to say the least. Â And employees should put on their make-up BEFORE they get to work, not when they are on their shift. Â She obviously feels her job is secure (which is a mistake for that place) and perhaps if the upper management would take heed as to how their bartenders are performing, they might think twice about who they hire! Â She gave us our change and never said a word to us...her friends were more important!!
Review Source:Was going to this place for the first time and the bar tender was putting her make up on. She then had some other people that came in that she knew and completely ignorged other customers, never checked on my mom and I. Our drinks sat empty for a good ten minutes. When we got our check she never said thank you. She was very rude. Other people came and left with out getting drinks.. she also was the supervisor, I can say ill never go back or referr the bar to anyone.
Review Source:Don't kid yourself, you come here to have a drink and maybe some snacks in this amazing building. The bar maidens are fun and easy on the eyes and surprisingly are pretty good at pouring cocktails.
As far as snacks are concerned, the nachos, loaded fries and the grilled cheese and grilled steak sammiches will do you right.
This is a building experience, not a restaurant experience. Â Take the elevator up, get a drink, check out the view, go eat somewhere else. Â Only bar food, fine dining has been discontinued. Â Service & food were weak. Â The waitress almost seemed surprised we were there to eat, and only brought our table of two one menu, one napkin, & two forks.
Review Source:The food here is pretty good, for what you're paying for it. In my opinion, the best part about the restaurant is the fact that it is located at the top of the Price Tower. It makes for a romantic and special evening, and for Bartlesville? You can't find many places that offer such an ambiance.
Overall, there is better food for better prices in Tulsa, but if driving 45 minutes for a nice dinner is too much of a hassle, The Copper is really your only in-town choice.
Spent the night in the Price Tower and decided to have drinks here and it was FABULOUS!! Â The atmosphere gets high marks because it's an effin' Frank Lloyd Wright designed highrise (!!) and the bar is made of copper (love that smell!). Â We sat at the bar and watched the sun set as we made friends with our super friendly bartender and a diner at the end of the bar. Â Drinks were excellent - we had dirty martinis and great wine recommended by the bartender.
Comp breakfast the next morning was the standard continental but kicked up a notch (did I mention it's a FLW bldg). Â Weather was nice so we ate outside.
I made a detour on a business trip from Chicago to Tulsa to see the Price Tower and decided to linger for dinner at Copper. Â My oh my. Â It was fantastic, and unexpected. Â I thought that for a tourist attraction/art center the food would be an afterthought. Â It was not. Â I had the caprese salad and chocolate mousse. Â It was on the expensive side, but not compared to a comparable meal in Chicago -- and every bit as good.
Review Source:Bartlesville's best dining IMHO. Â I haven't actually eaten there since Chef Michael left, but the food I've had there would compare to the best anywhere. Â And the ambiance of Frank Lloyd Wright's live-in, work-in sculpture (his only completed skyscraper) doesn't hurt either. Â The restaurant/hotel remodel was exceptionally well done. Â The bar area is very small, the acoustics are awful, but it's classy and is truly a cultural oasis in the Bluestem prairie... and you can take in the museum on the first floor to complete the experience.
Be sure and notice the original woven copper curtains (custom made for the Price Tower) and the huge cloisonne mural in the museum lobby.
