Again one of my favorite places to eat! Another good experience!

Fun place, good service and nice menu. The food is good- Not outstanding but very enjoyable. Would certainly recommend for a casual fun evening with good drinks. Oysters were very fresh and delicious.

Great spot for a nice dinner. Fondue (get there before 6PM for this offering!) was scrumptious - and filling. Wine and beer offerings, as well as the number of vegetarian choices, were great. Service was good as well. We sat in the front and were glad we did. Like other Yelpers noted, much better people watching here - the back seems a bit claustrophobic.

Service is top notch.  All the employees treated us great with a smile and laughter.  Very friendly.

Ordered the crab cake appetizer ...a bit dissapointed.  The crab was a bit fishy which was disappointing.  The cream avacaodo that accompanies the crab cake was more cream than avacado.  Not the best.
Recommend the pineapple martini!  In house specialty.
Ordered summer rissoto and flank steak for dinner.  I enjoyed the steak which was cooked to order and flavored very well.  The lady was not impressed with her rissoto.
Great ambiance and style.  High recommend.

Finally had dinner here over Labor Day weekend and was more or less impressed with the food.  We had a group of 4 and were told the wait would be about 30 minutes (which was confusing since there were several open tables but I think they were under-staffed).  We grabbed drinks in the bar and ordered the calamari.  If I were to only order one dish at Cornerstone it would be this one.  At least what I have sampled there thus far.  The olives, the capers, the BROTH...to die for.  A couple pieces of the calamari were a bit overcooked (aka rubbery) but overall the dish was a solid B.  They serve it with a piece of bread soaked with the sauce in the middle but our server accommodated our request for additional bread in order to sop up the extra sauce.  3 of the 4 ordered the elk burger.  One in our party wanted it medium to medium-well but the server convinced her to go medium (which is how the others ordered it).  It was disappointing to see that hers was the pinkest of the 3 served.  She switched 1/2 which my hubby but it still wasn't perfectly to her liking.

I ordered the grilled caesar which was great and the soup which was a brothy tomato served with a crostini.  Service was slow but our server explained they were short staffed.  Wine and cocktail list is interesting.  Definitely one of the better wine lists I have seen in town and love that they had 3 roses by the glass.

As I stated before, interesting space for a small ski town.  Overall better experience than the one across the street at B.

I want to like Cornerstone so badly because they've got such a beautiful restaurant in such a great location, but it just fails to execute on some important levels. Both their drink menu and dining menu are really inventive. The drinks are usually always good, but I have yet to have one good culinary experience here.

First...if you're going to serve Oysters on the half-shell and charge $10 for 4 of them (we got 8 oysters), you better do them right. The best words I can use to describe how they serve oysters is "No effort." Our oysters came sliding around on a regular plate, not on top of a bed of ice or anything. They were just cold enough to not send back, so that part was fine, but they still should put them on some crushed ice. Nobody wants the perception that their oysters have been sitting out for 20 minutes waiting for the waitress to serve them...which took 20 minutes from the time we ordered them. They served them with a mignonette sauce instead of the cocktail sauce, which was good, but they didn't even give us a little spoon to put some sauce on our oysters. What are we supposed to do, dump the little pot of it onto the oysters and make a huge mess -or- dip the oysters into the pot? Next, they didn't have cocktail sauce when we asked for it, so we made our own with some horseradish and ketchup. They didn't serve the oyster plate with lemon wedges either. To top it all off, they didn't even give us a little fork for the oysters, as is customary. So to recap...no ice, no cocktail sauce, no lemons, no spoon for the sauce, and no fork for the Oysters. It was just 8 oysters on a plate sliding around with a mignonette sauce...sad. Please increase the effort level.

Next, they need to train their bartenders better. The gal working the bar was nice enough and trying her hardest, but it was clear that she was new. I ordered an Old Fashioned with Maker's. It took our poor girl 10 minutes to make it and she used four glasses, a cocktail napkin as some sort of filter, and a bunch of hullabaloo that didn't neet to be there. Keep it simple Cornerstone...cause she was following the recipe that you guys gave her. Take a lowball glass, put a cube of sugar in it, pour a few drops of bitters, crush the sugar, add an orange slice and a cherry or two, muddle it all (in the same glass), splash of simple syrup, add a shot of Maker's, top off with a few cubes of ice and stir. What's so hard about that? It looked like Disney World...all I want's a drink damnit.

I'm going to keep going back to Cornerstone periodically...like I said, its a great place for drinks usually. I'm hoping the food improves...cause it really needs to.

Two nights in a row I was in Cornerstone alone. Both nights I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. The Hot Pedro is an amazing and original cocktail!

Great ambiance, great service, and the hands down best cocktails in the Sawtooths.  The calamari is the best I have ever had, and there are tons of great items for vegs & vegans. Opens at 4:30 for killer fondue and $1 oysters. You can't go wrong, especially when they have Pirate Night.  Yes, you hearrrrrrd me correctly.  How can you not love a place that has Pirate NIght? God bless Meg & Eric!

The food is excellent and the service is helpful and friendly. We had mahi mahi and short ribs well presented with stringed sweet potato, broccolini and a huge onion ring. Fun noisy atmosphere with an open kitchen. Upstairs has white cloth dining but we stuck to the main floor.
Only negative was the obligatory sliced white bread and oil. Please find some gourmet bread and present it well to start us off on the right foot! You're on the verge of 5 stars but not quite there.

Went to Corner Stone for dinner.  Average tasting food with price and presentation you would expect from a place that describes its cuisine as haute.  Liked the decor and ambiance.  Noisy but not too loud to be able to have a conversation.  Lots of locals hanging out and larger groups enjoying food and libations.

Our waitress was a bit of a space cadet, looking everywhere but at us while telling us the specials and taking our order.  She also forgot the bread.  Asked for iced tea, was declined.  Later overheard the owner say "someone asked for iced tea and I told them the only iced tea we have is in our Long Islands."  Well, that smug attitude and average food just earned you 2 stars.  Cheers.

Amazing menu and good service. Food is pricey but we got decent sized portions. Did not leave hungry. Sat in the restaurant, not bar. Good wine selection.

I have not read the reviews...so I may be repeating what another noted...locally this great restaurant is referred to as the Cougarstone...a not very kind note on the simple fact the this towns demographic is about fifty to dead and on the weekends it becomes something of a hook-up place for these smiling, denialing locals on their last fantasy...not to worry...go and eat...ask to sit at the Prow...a spot on the second floor that is a counter for about eight diners with a view of the entire ground floor...the Wedge is excellent as is most everything...

First, ignore the 1 star reviews. They have a $75 corkage fee (that benefits a battered women's shelter). Do not bring your own wine.

Now, onto the food. We had an ahi tuna nicoise, Cesar salad, beef short ribs with fried sweet potato, salmon with lemon risotto, and an elk burger with bacon, yellow tomatoes, and a free substitution of green beans for my fries.
The presentation was gorgeous! Upscale dining comes to Ketchum! The server and the hostess were attentive and patient.
We sat upstairs, away from the hubbub, where it was quieter, but if you're looking for a lively scene, eat downstairs.
I'd recommend reservations, especially if you have a seating preference, and the beers are a better deal than the wines. Entrees cost $15-$25.
This is easily one of the best restaurants in Ketchum!

Extra service point - they boxed my mom's food and wrote the contents and date on the top of the box.  Unnecessary, unrequested, and very thoughtful.

Love this place! Had a great girls night... shared the ahi appetizer, crab cake and hazelnut crusted sole (a special that night). Our server, who was awesome, suggested a drink called "the hot mess" - all were wonderful. We both agreed the fish was some of the best we have had. All in all a wonderful meal at a hip and fun spot. Will definitely go back!

We really enjoyed our night here!! The vibe is hip enough for a city slicker, romantic enough for the table for 2, and laid back enough for the family off the slopes. We started with the ahi tuna appetizer and shredded apple. He had the fillet and it was very juicy. I can't tell you about the sides because he didn't share :-(

I had the king salmon with lemon risotto. The pomegranates were a very nice and surprising addition. We ended with the chocolate torte - rich deliciousness in my mouth.

Oh, and did I mention the bottle of Relentless?  Hey, it was the last night of my ski season!

We enjoyed this renovated awesome old historic building and the food was delicious. We will visit again soon and try some different items on the menu. Make reservations....it's very popular because it's a great place to dine!!
Well....tried it again and was disappointed. The food was nowhere as good as before, the service was slow and not attentive and it was way noisy!! Seems to have become the local new hangout for the bar crowd. Still love the decor and aesthetics of the historic bldg but the food, menu must improve!!!
