My girlfriend and I like this place for breakfast. On a Sunday morning it's busy but the wait isn't too long. The waitresses are friendly and service is good, they come back to check on you and offer more coffee, which any good diner should do. I get my usual, French Toast, either plain or stuffed with fruit, and it's always good. Some places don't even know how to do french toast, using the wrong bread (thin sliced white, like Wonder bread! uggh!) or not enough egg batter coating, this place does it right. The only better FT I've had was in St. Louis.
My g/f gets her favorite, an omlette, either with or without yolks, and the usual sides, toast and home fries. The omlettes are nice and fluffy and made with fresh ingredients.
Recommended highly!
Coffee was good waitress was nice but.....how many of you agree that the waitress should not serve you bad food when it is obviously bad. This is not fine dining, I go here  for breakfast yesterday.  3 eggs over easy, toast, Canadian Bacon.  All the eggs way over done. 2 are broken, one was broken so early in the process that it looked like a hard-bolied egg. But, you're still going to charge me the $10 or whatever it is right? The balls on these people to put this down in front of me. To not do your job and expect it to be Ok with me. You eat the dog-sh*t. I left money for the coffee and walked out. Oh and the waitress thing....she is my advocate no? She wants a tip and just takes whatever krap the guy behind the grill serves and puts it down in front of me? Wake up wait-staff, don't serve food that is obviously done poorly, do your job, earn your tip. Never go here.....remember. DOG-SH*T.
Review Source:I really like this place, I'd give it a five if the menu had some more interesting choices especially for breakfast.
The food is very good, staff is super friendly, and the place has a cozy "country cottage" feel, and the prices are fair!
I'd probably hit it more often, but it closes at 3pm? And my kids and I are big brinner (breakfast for dinner) Â people.
