I assumed, and dearly hoped, Â that the apostrophe in "son's" was a listing mistake all over the web. Alas, this place is not run by a person named Three Son, yet the apostrophe remains, almost everywhere, daring me to correct it; luckily for them, the sign out front is correct. (Let's all but neglect to mention the curious fact that the name is oddly reminiscent of Brothers Four not far away.)
I strolled in on a rainy day and was met by...well, an interesting duo (nice would be a stretch. SportsCenter blared on an SDTV, signs advertising jalapeno poppers and philly cheesesteaks littering the walls, attetmpting to add to an already-too-vast menu. The haphazard mish-mosh was probably far more than they should seek to try here, yet they persist. I ordered up my signature slice and a knot for an odd $2.38, and my change, a small sum, emerged not from the register but a pocket of the supervisor, a concerning sign. My slice, which I killed for time rather than delectable-ness reasons, ashy and mediocre, albeit with an odd unidentifiable kick in the last bite. My knot was tough, to say the least, but not terrible in terms of flavor.
Three Sons bills itself as "Moriches newest pizza place", yet--if memory serves correctly--this place used to be called Pizza Island, and has been a pizzeria for quite a while. They deliver from Manorville to Mastic Beach, and were visibly constructing pizza and pastas when I was there, so maybe there's hope.
PS: They're at <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.threesonspizza.com%2F&s=7c24ba5ca6a0bc68651cc18969cd90aaceee87b691bb7776e0adf32ed8bb77bc" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.threesonspizz…</a> , no apostrophe allowed, much to their dismay, I'm sure.
