This is a good place to get some grub on the lake. Its next to the gas dock so your boat can get some juice as well. I like the fried assortment of fries, sweet potato fries, and other goodies. YOu can sit out side on the dock and its great scenery ans very relaxing.
If you and / or your boat are hungry stop in and take a break.
The captains burger was a great burger on a hoagie bun that seems made fresh when ordered. The fries are a nice mix is tater tots, fries, waffle fries and sweet potatoes fries. Â The outside seating on the dock is great to watch the boats and water life around. I would come back here again in a heartbeat.
Review Source:What I love about this place is that its dockside and on the water which is nice if you have been on the boat, still on the boat or staying in the resort. There was live entertainment which was nice. It was a nice night to be sitting outside though there is plenty of inside space as well.
Now, onto everything I did not like. The burgers-both the captains and the pier 27 were not good at all. It was marginal tasting at best and served on a hoagie bun. THe fries were a mix of fries, waffles, tater tots and sweet potato fries. Meh. We started with the combo dips-the cheese dip was good enough but I wasn't crazy about the salsa nor the spinach artichoke dip. It was busy so it took FOREVER to get our food or another round of drinks which is not great considering we were out on the boat for 8 hours and starving!
The worst part of all is that our 17 year old waitress was serving our drinks which is clearly not legal. She kept saying, as she delivered the drinks to our table, that we never saw her. I thought about calling for the manager to give him a tongue lash but was too tired and quite frankly just ready to get our of my wet swimsuit. They weren't THAT busy that the bartender couldn't have done it him/herself. The mixed drinks were a joke because they are all made with sake, not actualy liquor due to "rules". Funny they don't mind breaking some but not others. Really??
Great food, excellent location and plenty of outdoor seating. One of a few restaurants ON Table Rock Lake. Â Service and docking assistance is always friendly. Be patient on Friday evenings, service can run long. The wait allows you time to listen to the live music, grab a craft beer and enjoy the lake.
Review Source:We go to the Coyotes often in Nixa so we thought to check out this one. The experience was not that good. The food looked ok but no one came for a food order from us. The temperature inside must have been close to 90 degrees, granted it was probably close to 106 outside but still. The beer was pretty warm as well so after one round we left. I can say I have been to Coyote's Dockside now but if in town I will stick with the Bearded Clam for a cold beer.
