I noticed that they had a Journey tribute band in Branson so my wife and I decided to check it out since we aren't big country music fans. This place is located across from the titanic and has the eagles tribute band on the outside marquee. I own all of the journey albums with Steve Perry and Arnel Pineda so I'm a fan of the band. I expected a group of guys to sound pretty close on the instruments with some occasional flaws and less for the lead vocalist. I figured he'd  have a pretty good voice but not sound like Steve Perry.....more karaoke if you know what I mean for a typical Branson show.
Thankfully I was way off target. This group is awesome! The lead vocalist Jason Yeager is spot on. I know people won't believe it but he sounds so much like Steve that you'll be thrilled. The band is incredible too. The lead guitar was shredding it on stage. They played for an hour and a half with a fifteen minute break. They played all the hit songs and a couple that were not at the top of the billboards. What an incredible show!
I like Branson and I come back each year, but I know for certain this is the best show for those who want to escape the country music scene and want to enjoy some classic rock. I'll be back again and hope this will still be here before they get too popular and command a bigger stage. Really nice people and they played their hearts out!
